The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 8, reveal that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Christel Khalil) will have concerns about Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and his undeniable spark with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Daniel was grateful when Devon agreed not to say anything to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and just let Daniel break the ex reunion news himself.
The problem is Lily’s still dealing with a lot out in California. Supporting Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) is Lily’s priority right now, so Daniel doesn’t want to pile on extra stress.
That means Daniel is stuck in a holding pattern with Heather when it comes to their romantic reconnection.
Of course, it’s tough to believe Daniel and Heather will really be able to avoid surrendering to temptation now they’ve already caved in.
Devon could easily spot Heather and Daniel sneaking a kiss or something along those lines.
It could lead to Devon changing his tune about waiting on Daniel to give Lily updates.
If Daniel is going to carry on a full-blown affair behind Lily’s back, Devon may have to put his foot down.
Y&R spoilers say Devon will corner Daniel and most likely deliver an ultimatum.
If Daniel can’t keep his hands off Heather – and keep her out of his bed – Devon may argue that Daniel needs to go ahead and confess to Lily now.
If Daniel doesn’t cooperate, Devon might threaten to tell Lily what’s going on himself.
It could force Daniel to either bump up his confession timeline or be a little more diligent about maintaining boundaries with Heather.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), it looks like she’ll put on a pleasant act and make it seem like everything is fine with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
Phyllis will prove she’s the great pretender, but Daniel may suspect she’s downplaying the drama and worry about her escalating rivalry with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) as well.
Now that Christine and Phyllis have thrown the gauntlet, things could quickly spiral out of control and lead to even bigger trouble!
After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) brings Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to collect Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from The Empty Glass, a still drunk Nikki will lash out over the sponsor secret spillage.
However, Victor will ultimately strike a deal with Nikki and presumably agree not to stand in the way of Jack helping her – just as long as Nikki doesn’t lie to him about her struggles anymore.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will reach an agreement with Victor, but more mayhem is brewing thanks to Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and her upcoming moves.
