The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 11, reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) won’t be able to resist temptation, so she’ll throw back some alcohol and land in another predicament.
After Nikki faces this boozy setback, she’ll slur her words and stumble around the GCAC.
That’ll give Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) a chance to find Nikki and come to her rescue.
Although Lauren will try to take her home, Nikki will be mortified at the thought of Victor seeing her like this.
The last thing Nikki wants to do is let Victor down, so she’ll refuse to let him become a witness to her latest relapse.
Since Nikki will be so adamant, Lauren will make alternative arrangements and presumably lead her to the suite that she normally uses for romantic escapes with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
That’ll give Nikki somewhere she can use as a hideout while she tries to get all the vodka and whatever else out of her system.
Of course, Lauren will remind Nikki that Victor would want to support her in her time of crisis.
Victor wouldn’t judge Nikki for her mistake, but she’ll still feel like a giant disappointment to him and the rest of her family.
With that in mind, Nikki will probably want to brush this setback under the rug and never give Victor the news that she drank once again.
Nikki may swear Lauren to secrecy when it comes to this whole drunken debacle, but will Lauren really be able to keep her mouth shut?
Regardless, Lauren will have some divided loyalties and will struggle to know what the right call is.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will seek help from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so this will presumably be about making some arrangements for Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) trip.
It looks like everything will be all squared away legally and with Claire’s doctors, but there’ll still be some steps to take before Claire can head to Oregon.
Victoria might ask if they can use the Newman jet and take along some of Victor’s security people since Claire’s parents are responsible for handling all that.
Although Victor may have some reservations about Claire facing Jordan (Colleen Zenk) again, it appears he’ll do the favor Victoria asks and help work out the final trip details.
At the athletic club, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will grow closer over their dinner date.
After a flirty meal and a toast to themselves, Sally and Adam seem poised to end their night together on a hot note in Sally’s suite!
