The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 18 reveal some shocking moments in the land of Genoa City. First off, now that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) knows Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is struggling with sobriety, he’ll keep his promise to Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and reach out to his ex-wife during Thursday’s show.
As Y&R fans are aware, a very stressed-out Lauren recently told Jack about Nikki falling off the wagon. With Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) out of town, Lauren felt overwhelmed and worried for her friend.
On top of everything else, it looks like her AA sponsor Seth (Brian Gaskill) may have suffered a relapse too, so Lauren doesn’t want anything to jeopardize Nikki’s recovery.
Lauren turned to Jack for help, as he understands what Nikki is going through and won’t cast any judgment. Jack told her he’d help and keep quiet about her telling him.
During Thursday’s The Young and the Restless episode, he’ll make a vow to Nikki, but fans can’t help but wonder how all this will sit with his current wife, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for that matter!
Across town, Y&R spoilers for Thursday, January 18 suggest that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will do something to protect her interests.
She’s kicked both Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to the curb, so what’s Audra’s next move to ensure she stays on top?
Does this have to do with Newman Enterprises?
Nikki may need some time off to deal with her road to sobriety, so Audra may step up to the plate and offer to take on her boss’s duties for a while, all in an attempt to look good in the Newman family’s eyes.
Then again, Audra knows first-hand the ugliness of alcoholism, as her dad struggled with the disease. She may simply want to help, just to help.
Speaking of Audra and her two exes, added teasers for Thursday’s show reveal that Tucker will rile up Kyle over something.
The two may run into each other at the GC Athletic Club, or something of that nature, which will give Tucker the opportunity to poke at Kyle.
Tucker is the best when it comes to mind games, so this scene may not only add insight into the storyline but be highly entertaining to watch Kyle get irritated.
Young and the Restless spoilers hint the drama will continue to roll on this week, and Thursday’s show will offer some interesting scenes that fans won’t want to miss.
