The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 11, reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will have a hard time feeling like she belongs in her family unit now that Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) have settled in for the summer.
Although Claire has received plenty of acceptance from family members like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’s struggling when it comes to her new siblings.
Johnny doesn’t mind Claire being part of the picture, but he doesn’t seem all that eager to bond with Claire either.
However, Katie is the real problem since she’s hesitant to trust Claire or open up to her at all.
Despite Victor’s recent attempt to push Katie in the direction of acceptance, there’ll be more awkward tension on Thursday’s Y&R episode.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may encourage Claire to join family bonding time, but Claire will still feel like she’s on the outside looking in.
Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), they’ll do some scheming against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Will Devon and Nate’s latest plot have anything to do with the bold move Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is about to make?
Lily will indeed take a risk as she makes a significant choice on Thursday’s show.
That could mean Lily will decide to turn her back on Devon and stick with Billy at Abbott-Chancellor instead of bolting for her family’s company.
Devon agreed to this demerger with the understanding that Lily would abandon Billy and come work at Winters, so he’s bound to feel betrayed if she goes against that plan now.
Even so, it almost seemed like Devon wanted that outcome deep down when he kept throwing suspicions Lily’s way.
Devon struggles to share any kind of power, so does he really want Lily disagreeing with him on things in their family business?
Lily may push Devon to see that they would constantly butt heads if she came to work with him at Winters, so she’s better off partnering up with Billy.
Of course, Lily may also have a strong reaction to whatever scheme Nate and Devon are cooking up, so our predictions suggest it could all add up to good news for Billy.
