The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 30, reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will panic over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) latest arrival since she won’t want to get caught with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) behind closed doors.
Nikki doesn’t want Victor to know Jack is her new sponsor, so she’ll flip out as Victor continues calling out to her inside her office.
However, Jack and Nikki may get lucky since Victor’s set to receive an important phone call. Perhaps Victor will get distracted and leave without ever finding out Jack was there.
It looks like Nikki and Jack will argue over nearly getting caught, so Jack may warn Nikki that she should just come clean to Victor before he finds out another way.
Nevertheless, Nikki will be adamant that Victor should remain out of the loop and will once again swear Jack to secrecy.
As for that phone call we mentioned, Victor will get updates on a fire breaking out at the prison facility Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is being held in.
That blaze apparently led to some deceased inmates along with some escapes, so there’ll be some uncertainty over which category Jordan falls in.
Victor will no doubt beef up security for his family once he realizes Jordan could be coming for them once again.
Over with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll express concern over Jack becoming Nikki’s rescuer. Although Diane gets why Jack wants to help Nikki, she’ll still fear this could lead to bad news.
Diane may warn that Jack’s begging for trouble with Victor – and the last thing they need is to restart the Jabot and Newman Enterprises rivalry right now.
Other Y&R spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will do some commiserating, so they may reflect on the boredom of not having love lives anymore.
Although Sharon and Nick claim they’re fine with focusing on work, they may admit they have a lot more time to fill now.
It’s also possible that Sharon and Nick will spot Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) date with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) wrapping up.
Sharon told Chance that she didn’t want things to be awkward, but that situation could still be a little uncomfortable.
Nick will be able to put himself in Sharon’s shoes if that happens since he’s had similar run-ins with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Nick will strengthen their bond due to common ground.
