The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 9, reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will make a move that catches Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) off guard. After Summer’s recent conversation with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), she’s decided to just go for it and see if maybe Chance reciprocates her feelings.
Of course, Summer hasn’t heard the news about Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) breaking things off with Chance just yet.
Even so, Summer knows what she wants and will move forward with her plan to fight for it.
That could lead to Summer making a big speech where she confesses what’s in her heart. Summer might even pounce on Chance with a kiss and hope it pays off for her.
Although Summer will want an opportunity to get to know Chance better and perhaps go on a date, how will Chance feel about that idea?
Chance really did see the potential for a future with Sharon, so he may not be ready to dive head-first into something with Summer.
It’s possible Chance could even accuse Summer of saying something to drive Sharon away.
On the other hand, Chance might end up looking for a way to ease his pain. Since Chance gets along with Summer as a friend, he may be open to pursuing more – even if the timing is rather awkward.
Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get a shock when she runs into her ex-husband, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).
That’ll bring a catch-up session at the coffeehouse, where Cole will spill the story of finding Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and trying to reconnect after all these years.
Although Cole may have doubts about whether he can be a good dad to Claire, Ashley may think he’s going to figure this out.
Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are both facing quite a challenge, but Ashley might give Cole a confidence boost.
Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will spin out of control.
It sounds like Kyle will get updates on Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) betrayal and realize part two of his Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) scheme is completely blown.
If Kyle finds out Audra told Tucker about the bogus product setup, he may rip into her and make it clear that whatever they shared is over now.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that the Abbotts will have to regroup and figure out another tactic against Tucker, so stay tuned.
