The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will move forward with the next phase of his Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) destruction plot. Victor has already been using Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) against Jack, so he’s enjoyed manipulating Jack’s own son to help with this takedown.
Now it looks like Victor will decide to make Jack’s wife – or perhaps soon-to-be former wife – against him, too.
During the week of October 21-25, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will give Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) updates on Jack asking her to move out.
We’ll see Diane act like her marriage is over and most likely get a room at the athletic club.
Diane may also deliver news about her firing since Jack will presumably insist he can no longer work with her.
However, things may not be quite as they seem if Diane staged that public showdown with Jack to fool Victor and Kyle.
In that case, Jack and Diane could be a couple of chess moves ahead!
It’s worth mentioning that Jack will give Traci alarming information, so she might be concerned over this potential trap if that’s what he admits.
Regardless, Victor will hope he can fuel Diane’s desire for revenge over her divorce and the way Jack’s seemingly cast her aside.
Diane may ask why she should help Victor when he played such a huge role in her losing everything.
Nevertheless, Victor may argue that Jack’s the real problem and suggest they both want him to pay now.
Maybe Victor will turn this into an “enemy of my enemy is my friend” situation and suggest Diane should use her inside knowledge of Jabot to help him destroy Jack.
In reality, Diane could be the one who ends up with inside knowledge of Victor’s plans – paving the way for her to help Jack instead if this is all a scam!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some twists and turns are still to come as Victor works to recruit Diane for his team.
