The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 28, reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will realize she’s got a difficult choice on her hands. Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a risky scheme involving Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), Victoria can either relent or try to fight her daughter’s early release from the psych ward.
Of course, Victoria should know better than to fight back against Victor when he thinks he knows best!
That’s probably why Victoria will indeed surrender to Victor’s plans at some point this week.
In the meantime, Claire will meet with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and offer her full approval on Victor’s plot, which involves using her as a key element in his trap for Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
Once Claire officially signs on, Michael can move forward with pulling the strings Victor mentioned. Since Michael is a pro at this sort of thing, it won’t be long until Claire’s early discharge moves forward.
Victor already told Claire the gist of what he expects her to do, but the plan could become more elaborate as time goes on.
Claire was initially supposed to just take a phone call from Jordan and pass along a message, but she might have to take some greater risks depending on what Jordan does next!
Victor will hope to trick Jordan and get her locked back up for good, but Jordan has been doing some scheming of her own through Seth (Brian Gaskill).
It’s clear that Jordan’s getting dangerously close to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so she could throw Victor and Claire a few curveballs if she gets the upper hand temporarily.
Wednesday’s Y&R episode will also bring a disturbing ordeal for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who obviously isn’t as OK as she’d have her family believe.
Ashley’s mental state is fragile, so something may happen with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) that pushes her over the edge.
Big trouble is brewing for Ashley, who’ll have a harrowing experience soon enough.
