The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 3, reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will need to get a few things straight after that sizzling moment they shared on New Year’s Eve.
Heather may offer an apology for letting herself get too close and hope she didn’t make things awkward when it comes to co-parenting.
Daniel might take some of the blame as well and suggest they can just forget about the kisses they shared.
Since Daniel is involved with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), he may tell Heather that it’s best for them to stick to friendship.
However, the look in Heather and Daniel’s eyes will tell a different story – at least from Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) perspective.
Y&R spoilers say Danny will spot Daniel and Heather gazing at each other, so he’ll perhaps see lust and longing.
Danny will also catch Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) playing Cupid for Heather and Daniel, so he’ll have multiple reasons to be concerned.
Although Danny has been dealing with love triangle problems of his own, he recently rejected Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and made it clear that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) was the only woman he wanted.
Danny may think Daniel needs to do the same with Heather if hopes to keep his relationship with Lily intact.
Of course, Danny might also pose the theory that Daniel is craving a reunion with Heather deep down.
Either way, Danny will push Daniel to make a decision about what he wants his future to look like or else more heartbreak could be brewing.
Next, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will pressure Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to reveal what’s really in her heart when it comes to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Sharon has certainly noticed how flirty Summer gets around Chance and how she always manages to steal more time with him.
If Chance offered updates on Summer taking his extra concert ticket, that could be another reason for Sharon to worry about how close they’re getting.
Sharon’s romance with Chance isn’t all that serious yet, but she still needs to know if Summer is trying to make her move!
That’s why Sharon will grill Summer about her true feelings, but Summer will have a similar idea when she asks if Sharon is in love with Chance.
