The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 9, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have hopes when she meets up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for dinner. After hearing Nick insist “it’s a date,” Sharon will have the wrong idea about his motives for sharing this meal together.
In reality, Nick will just want a chance to spend some extra time with Sharon and try to gauge if her recovery is really going as well as it seems.
That could bring a bit of an interrogation and leave Sharon wondering what’s going on.
Nevertheless, Nick will play up how much he cares about Sharon and wants to make sure she’s OK.
We’ll see Sharon pick up on some mixed signals and struggle to figure out if Nick wants to step back into romantic territory or not.
Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will also have some questions about his romantic future.
That’s why Cole will quiz Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about the road ahead and try to get a sense of what she’s thinking.
Cole knows that Victoria has dealt with her fair share of heartbreak, so she’s extra cautious when it comes to relationships now.
Although Cole won’t want to push too hard, he’ll probably work on building some trust and hope this reconnection can last forever.
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) had a chat with Cole about Victoria and how wary she is, so Victoria might assume that’s where all this is coming from.
Even so, Victoria may appreciate Cole’s attempt to offer some reassurance considering her past romantic disasters.
Over with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), his investigation into Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) demise will heat up.
Chance will do his best to trace the location of Heather’s phone, but he’ll inevitably run into some trouble due to the app Sharon downloaded to prevent it.
However, the cops might have some clever tactics to get around that.
Regardless, Chance will eventually realize he needs to question Sharon – perhaps partly due to all the animosity that she’s shown toward Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) family in recent weeks.
Sharon will have to deal with Chance’s grilling session later this week, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the drama she’ll have to contend with.
