The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) might be headed on a road to redemption. The sly and seductive Newman Media executive has made some scheming moves in the past; however, fans have seen a bit of a softer side to the vixen as of late.
One major example of this is how she handled Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) first day back at Newman recently, after her face-off with Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
Fans know little about Audra’s past, but as her boss struggled to get back into the swing of things, the brunette offered Nikki her full support. She also revealed how her dad lost his addiction battle, sharing a little tidbit about her childhood.
Audra sharing some vulnerable details about her family with Nikki provided an interesting layer to her character.
It showed that Audra isn’t as robotic at work and “business” only, plus, it proved there is a piece of her that does care for Nikki.
It also offered insight into why Audra may be the way she is; independent and career-focused, because she never had a parental unit she could count on.
More interesting than the scene she shared with Nikki was that Audra kicked both Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to the curb, recently.
While she still may be in business with Tucker, her personal relationships with both men are seemingly done.
With a buzz that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is headed back to town, it’s hard not to think that Audra is suddenly single so she can have a proper reunion with him.
Noah and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) moved to Europe some months ago; however, there’s a good chance he’s coming back to Genoa City because things didn’t work out between them, which could open a door for a romantic with Audra.
Still, as Audra has shown hints lately, of being a person who does care and may have morals, could she be headed toward a road to redemption?
If she grew up with a father who had substance abuse issues, it could explain the walls she builds up and why she appears to be emotionless.
Generally, when characters make a transition from zero to hero, they often have a romance to help with this evolution.
As Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) son, you don’t get any more “clean cut” than Noah, and the two have a tumultuous past romance that wasn’t fully explored when Audra strolled into town because of his relationship with Allie.
Y&R spoilers don’t offer much information about how long Noah’s next stint in GC will be, but, if he is back for an extended period of time, a romance with Audra would not only be interesting but could help her polish up her “bad girl” image in town, if she stays genuine with him.
