The Young and the Restless Thursday, August 15 Recap: Sally & Billy Overhear Chelsea’s Guilty Night

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 15, reveals that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will run into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the coffeehouse and express concern about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) following his recent visit.

Nick will seem irritated about Daniel doing something that he thought might upset Sharon, but he’ll eventually see that Daniel was trying to help.

Although Nick will think Daniel’s game idea might be something to pursue in the future, he’ll feel like Daniel should keep his distance from Sharon for right now.

Nick will also get updates on the drama Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) caused when she snuck vodka to relax while out with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Later, Daniel and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will discuss Lucy being overdramatic about her grounding.

Once everyone cools off, Daniel will think they need to sit down with Lucy and help her understand how royally she screwed up.

Heather will assure Daniel that this isn’t the same as what happened with Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

As far as Heather’s concerned, Daniel will be in the perfect position to make Lucy see she should think twice before doing something so stupid again.

At Sharon’s house, Faith will get the news that her mom’s delaying her Sedona spa trip. Sharon will make excuses and get snippy with Faith when she keeps pestering her.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will enter and worry when she hears about the snags that are supposedly holding up this trip.

There’ll be some work issues that Mariah already took care of, so she’ll wonder what’s really going on here.

Sharon will finally snap about Mariah and Faith acting like she’s falling apart, so she’ll have a major overreaction and drop her laptop in a heated moment.

Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear in hallucination form throughout Thursday’s Y&R episode, so he’ll stress the importance of Sharon staying in Genoa City to get the answers she needs.

There’ll be times when Sharon’s seemingly staring off into space, but she’ll actually be getting advice from “Cameron.”

“Cameron” will warn that Sharon is supposed to be easing Faith and Mariah’s concerns instead of making them worry even more.

As a result, Sharon will apologize for the blowup and act like she’s adjusting to her medication again.

Once Sharon vows to rebook the trip today, Nick will show up and suggest maybe that’s not such a good idea.

Since Nick will think Sharon needs to stick around and recharge near her loved ones, “Cameron” will joke about “Prince Nicholas” riding in on his white horse again.

Mariah will still want to take over at Cassidy First for a bit, so “Cameron” will push Sharon to agree to that since there are some things she needs time to take care of.

At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will run into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and admit he’s decided to stop pushing Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to reveal the secret she’s keeping.

Sally will still feel like Billy seems paranoid and will try to keep the focus on supporting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

In that spirit, Billy will invite Sally to come with him to the park, where Connor, Chelsea and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be hanging out together.

Meanwhile, Connor will space out for a moment while playing football with his parents, so Chelsea and Adam will seem uneasy.

Fortunately, Connor will brush it off and help the two of them see that he’s capable of using his techniques he’s learned.

Connor will also acknowledge that it’s nice spending time together as a family and suggest it might not have happened without his OCD.

Since Adam and Chelsea have been getting along better, Connor will point out that they actually seem to like each other now.

When Connor steps away, Chelsea will worry that he might figure out the whole truth about the shift in her relationship with Adam.

However, Adam will offer reassurance and won’t think Connor’s reading too much into things.

That said, Adam will wonder if Connor is right about their connection being different now.

“I’d much rather Connor pick up on the fact that we’re working as a team than the tension and guilt from that one night,” Chelsea will say – just in time for Billy and Sally to show up for some eavesdropping.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Billy will seem suspicious over Chelsea’s comment, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the escalating drama.
