The Young and the Restless Thursday, July 11 Recap: Adam’s Drunk Confession Panics Chelsea, Lily Picks Billy Over Devon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 11, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will spend a little time with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Crimson Lights before Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) appears nearby.

Johnny will send his best to Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) before Billy joins Chelsea on the patio.

Billy will notice that Chelsea seems shaky, but he’ll assume she was just thrown by seeing Johnny after everything that’s gone down with Connor.

Once Billy and Chelsea head for lunch at Society, they’ll run into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) there.

After Chelsea and Billy join their table, Sally will ask if Billy’s going to order his usual.

Billy will confirm that he’s getting empanadas, so Adam will admit he didn’t realize they knew each other so well.

Sally will explain that they had a few chats about Connor while Adam and Chelsea were gone, but she’ll joke that there’s no need to be jealous.

Once talk turns to the Baltimore trip, Sally will hope that Chelsea and Adam found ways to distract themselves while waiting for Connor updates.

Adam will confess they got blind drunk the last evening, so that helped. Chelsea will give Adam a dirty look and quickly cover by suggesting he’s exaggerating.

After Chelsea lies that they simply had a couple drinks before calling it a night, she’ll get a phone call from Connor’s facility.

That’ll bring positive news about Connor’s turning point, so Adam and Chelsea will embrace.

Although Billy and Sally will notice how this whole ordeal has bonded Chelsea and Adam, they’ll act like it’s a good thing since Connor needs his parents united in support.

After Adam and Chelsea head to his place for a video call with Connor, she’ll lash out at him for that drunk comment earlier.

Adam will argue that the more they can share without admitting the actual cheating, the better off they’ll be.

Chelsea will panic a bit over all the deception and guilt, but Adam will settle her down since nothing good would come from telling the truth about their one-time mistake.

Once Connor gets on a video chat in Thursday’s Y&R episode, he’ll seem much calmer and will talk about his big breakthrough.

At Chancellor-Winters, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will speak with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) alone, so he’ll get frustrated over her refusal to commit to one side or the other following the demerger.

Devon will try to sell Lily on sticking with their original plan for her to join her own family business.

However, Lily will struggle to betray Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and walk away from what she built at Chancellor.

Once Lily asks for more time and takes off, Devon won’t seem optimistic as he brings Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) up to speed.

In fact, Devon will hint that they may need to prepare for Winters’ future without Lily.

Later, Lily will bump into Billy at Society, so he’ll pressure her to make a decision about whether she’ll stay at Chancellor or jump ship for Winters.

Lily will finally decide she’s on board with Billy’s vision, so they’ll plan to move forward as a team.

Billy will make a prediction about their success and will assure Lily that she won’t regret this.

In the park, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) will cross paths with Victoria, Katie and Johnny.

Although Johnny will join Harrison and Claire for their worm search, Katie will pass and continue to give Claire the cold shoulder.

When Victoria pitches the idea of a trip with Katie, she’ll act surprised that her mom would be willing to do something for just the two of them.

Katie will suggest she thought Victoria would be too busy spending time with Claire – her first daughter.

Johnny will call Katie out for being grumpy when it’s time for ice cream. Harrison will bring Katie some flowers and play up how great Claire is, so Katie will ultimately soften toward her sister and join in the fun.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Katie and Claire’s sibling bond finally seems to be moving in the right direction, so stay tuned.
