The Young and the Restless Thursday, July 25 Recap: Summer’s Judge Blocks Harrison Trip, Kyle Predicts Abby’s Divorce

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 25, reveals that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will have a suitcase when she meets up with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) at the bar, so she’ll explain that her book’s been optioned and that she’s wanted in Los Angeles for some movie meetings.

Alan will be sad to see Traci go, but she’ll ask him to join her since he already canceled his speaking engagements so they could spend time together.

While Traci and Alan prepare for their LA trip on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will speak with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) about their Paris plans.

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will show up at the Abbott mansion with news that her lawyer petitioned a new judge, who granted temporary emergency custody to keep Kyle from taking Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) out of the country.

Claire will keep Harrison busy with an art project upstairs while Kyle accuses Summer of being vindictive and not wanting Harrison to have affection for any other woman.

Summer will rant about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and how Kyle’s bad decisions started when he got tangled up with her again.

Kyle will wonder if Summer bribed the judge to make this happen, but she’ll insist the facts speak for themselves.

Summer will push Kyle to admit the timing of this trip is shady since there’s a pending custody battle.

Kyle will think it’s ridiculous to imply that he’d keep Harrison in Paris permanently and will talk about how much Harrison is looking forward to this trip.

After Kyle gets his own lawyer on the phone, he’ll suggest Summer isn’t the only one who can play dirty.

Once Kyle stomps off, Claire will show Summer a drawing Harrison made about wishing Summer could come to Paris, too.

Although Claire will play up how excited Harrison is, Summer will insist this is her son and won’t be looking for any parenting advice.

At Newman Enterprises, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will stop by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office and admit he might’ve gotten ahead of himself with that marriage proposal.

Devon will hope for Victor’s approval now that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) has accepted, so Victor will indeed be on board with their upcoming wedding.

At Society, Abby will second-guess her fast “yes” as she gives Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) updates on her engagement over a video call.

Abby will fret over her failed relationships in the past and worry that marrying Devon could ruin everything.

Ashley will push Abby to trust her heart, so Abby will admit things feel different with Devon.

Since it’ll feel right this time, Abby will seem more at ease about her decision and will thank Ashley for the advice.

When Kyle arrives, Abby will fill him in on her engagement. Kyle will mention his custody meeting and suggest he could introduce Abby to his lawyer for the inevitable divorce.

Although Kyle will act like it’s only a matter of time until Abby’s marriage ends in disaster, she’ll push him not to rain on her engagement parade.

Afterward, Abby, Victor and Devon will all share a toast as they celebrate.

Nearby, Kyle will sit down with his lawyer and wonder how they can fight the latest ruling.

The lawyer will note that appealing the decision could take weeks, but Kyle won’t be able to push back the meetings he’s already lined up.

Kyle will fret over how crushed Harrison will be if he can’t go on this Paris trip. Once Kyle rants about Summer being selfish and vindictive, he’ll insist two can play at that game!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will come up with a way to strike back, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the sneaky moves ahead.
