The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 20, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will bump into Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) in the park, so he’ll tell him about Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) humiliating business setback.
Victor will suggest Tucker might go into hiding, but he’ll also worry about him trying to weasel his way into Devon’s family if he returns to Genoa City.
Devon will assure Victor that there’s no need to be concerned about that.
Meanwhile, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) will mope at the tack house and complain about missing her old room.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will point out that Katie wasn’t very nice to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) earlier, but Katie will ask if Claire’s crazy and dangerous like the kids at school have been saying.
Despite Victoria’s efforts to ease Katie’s mind, Katie will worry that Claire could be faking her recovery and won’t like all this pressure to accept her.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hear about Katie’s negative reaction and offer a pep talk to Claire.
Once Kyle updates Claire on his issues with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll suggest he could always leave Jabot if he’s not happy.
After Victoria calls, Claire will decide to head home while Kyle gets a text from Victor asking if they can meet.
Back at the tack house, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) will admit to Victoria that Katie’s foul mood might actually be about some problems with a boy she liked at school.
Once Claire returns, Johnny will let her know that Katie can be a pain sometimes, but he’ll act like she’s going to come around.
At the GCAC, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will gloat to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about her win over Tucker, but she’ll suggest she’s done with love after the number Tucker did on her.
Nate will think that’s a shame and will propose a toast in hopes that Audra will change her mind eventually.
As for this secret investor situation, Nate will think it’s a red flag that someone paid a ton of money for a startup.
It’ll leave Nate thinking Audra should be careful since this investor may have a hidden agenda.
Once Victor summons Audra to the ranch, he’ll throw a curveball by announcing that he wants Kyle to be her co-CEO.
Audra will think she’s more than capable of running Glissade alone, but Victor will maintain that this is a non-negotiable directive.
In other words, Audra’s involvement at Glissade will be contingent on her agreeing to work with Kyle, so she’ll have no choice but to go along with Victor’s demand.
After Kyle arrives, Victor will remind him of their previous conversation since Kyle made it clear that he wasn’t happy or challenged enough at Jabot.
Kyle will get a shock when Victor suggests he should be co-running Glissade with Audra instead.
At Society, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about getting the lawsuit drama squared away with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Next on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Lily will admit she’s reached a conclusion about Bill’s proposal and wants to move forward with running the company alongside him.
That news will leave Billy ready to order Champagne and celebrate, but Lily will admit there’s a catch since she wants to undo the merger first.
Billy will be surprised, but he’ll be fine with it since it was his original pitch.
In the end, Lily will strike a deal where she’ll run Abbott-Chancellor with Billy while Devon takes back Winters to run it himself.
Lily will hint that she already floated the idea by Devon and will act like it might be easier to convince him than Billy expects.
When Devon enters the restaurant and sees Lily celebrating with Billy, he’ll seem uneasy and bolt without speaking to them.
At the office, Devon will talk to Nate about the unsettling vibe he got watching Billy and Lily.
Nate will think Devon’s being paranoid and will argue that maybe Lily’s got Billy on the hook to reel him in.
Even so, Devon will want Nate to keep an eye on Billy while he’s in Paris with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
Lily will overhear that part as she arrives and assure Devon that she’s got Billy right where she wants him. That said, Lily will hope Devon might rethink his Paris trip since things are about to blow up.
Back with Billy, he’ll get on a video call with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), who’ll object when he brings up undoing the merger.
However, Billy will work to sell Jill on everything working out since Lily’s agreed to come to their side.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily’s game could get messy as this storyline moves along, so we’ll bring you more predictions on how all this will go down.
