The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 20, reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will be down in the dumps following her disastrous first meeting with Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri).
Things were awkward with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), but at least he seemed genuinely curious about Claire’s wild life and experiences.
Johnny was able to joke around with Claire a bit in the end, but Katie was a different story!
Although Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will try to convince Katie to come around after her Claire blowup, it may not be an easy task.
Katie is holding onto a lot over anger over Jordan (Colleen Zenk) torching their former home, so she seems to view Claire as an extension of her menacing aunt and blame her for it on some level.
Claire normally tries to stay positive, but she may let some negativity creep back in this time around.
Part of Claire may worry that she’ll always create family strife and never have the real acceptance she wants from all her siblings.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a warning to pass along – and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will be on the receiving end of it.
Devon agreed to fly to Paris with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) since she’s worried about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), but it may take a little time to get his jet fueled up and ready.
Whatever the case, there’ll apparently be a delay that gives Victor time to share some words of caution regarding Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Victor may warn that since Tucker just lost Glissade and any hope of happiness with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), he could go off the rails.
Whether Victor confesses to being the secret investor or not, Devon may worry about Tucker’s vengeful state of mind.
Assuming Tucker is still in Paris, this could give Devon just much of a reason to go there as Abby.
However, Devon may ultimately find that Tucker has truly accepted defeat.
Tucker might plan to focus on soul-searching away from Genoa City since Trevor St. John has announced that he’s exiting the role.
In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will meet with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and offer updates on the deal she struck with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to avoid a lawsuit.
From there, Lily will want to revisit the idea of another deal that Billy previously pitched – the one that involved them running Chancellor-Winters as the ultimate power duo.
Lily will admit she’s interested, but she’ll point out there’s a catch.
It sounds like Lily will move forward with the plan she discussed with Devon, so she may try to trick Billy into splitting up the companies.
Lily’s goal is to convince Billy to go along with undoing the merger – and then she’ll bail on Chancellor to join Devon and Nate at her family business later on.
Of course, Billy might suspect that a scheme is afoot and have some tough questions for Lily.
There’s also the possibility of Lily changing her mind and betraying Devon at some point, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the corporate chaos.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will deliver a proposal and work to deceive Billy for now, so stay tuned for more news on their meeting.
