The Young and the Restless Thursday, May 30 Recap: Alan’s Twin Bumps Into Tucker, Ashley’s Imposter Therapist

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 30, reveals that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will draw a line in the sand when it comes to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) serving as Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sponsor.

Diane will feel like this is part of a bigger issue since Jack has repeatedly ignored her feelings and made choices on his own – choices that put his own life at risk!

Although Diane won’t want to walk away, she’ll refuse to lose Jack to an overdose and won’t know what else to do.

Jack will ultimately agree that Nikki will have to find another sponsor, so Diane will embrace him with relief.

Meanwhile, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will report for nanny duty and get reminders about all the rules from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), who’ll briefly consider working from home since she’ll seem so nervous.

However, Claire, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) will all insist everything’s going to be fine, so Summer will reluctantly leave for work with Kyle.

During a stop at Crimson Lights, Kyle will offer more reassurance to Summer, who’ll really need him to be right about trusting Claire.

Kyle will feel like this arrangement is going to work out well and could be a good reset for all of them.

In Paris, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will show up at Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) hotel suite to let her know she should have some cease-and-desist documents in her email regarding Glissade.

Audra will act like she doesn’t need Tucker’s permission to meet with whoever she wants, but he’ll wonder how their relationship deteriorated to this point.

Tucker will admit he was ready to commit to a life with Audra and will still be willing to commit to her, but she won’t believe he’s ever going to put her first.

After Audra makes it clear that things are truly over, Tucker will warn her to stay away from Glissade before he storms out.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will also head back to her apartment in Paris with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), but that’ll leave her struggling to fight off the voices in her head.

Once Alan leaves to take a shower and change clothes at his own apartment, he’ll promise to be back soon.

Traci will suggest Ashley could get some rest, but she’ll be afraid to go to sleep out of fear that one of her alters will take over again.

Ashley will ask Traci to watch over her and make sure she’s still herself, so Traci will stay by her side and offer plenty of support.

On the streets of Paris, Tucker will bump into Alan – or at least someone who looks just like him!

Tucker will greet Alan by name and try to engage in a conversation, but the man won’t seem to recognize Tucker and will take off silently in a hurry.

This may be a twin or doppelganger situation since the man Tucker meets will be sporting slightly more casual clothes.

Alan will eventually return to Ashley’s apartment wearing one of his usual nicer dress jackets.

Once Alan sits down with Ashley and Traci, he’ll try to get Ashley to retrace her steps and recall what happened after her fight with Tucker in Paris.

Ashley will mostly draw a blank, but she’ll know that she called Alan on her walk and got him to agree to a meeting after his last session.

Traci will confirm that was the first week in September, but Alan will seem truly baffled since he was in Florence and couldn’t have met with Ashley at the time.

Our Y&R predictions hint that Alan’s evil twin may have taken that meeting instead, so Ashley may be blocking out his attack!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will have some tough memories to unravel, so stay tuned for updates on all the startling news ahead.
