The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 14, reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will make some sweet speeches about their love before exchanging rings and saying “I do.”
Moments after Devon and Abby tie the knot, there’ll be a loud noise and a distant glow outside.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will fear there’s been an accident and will head out to investigate, so Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will offer to call Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will wake up confused in her car, which won’t start.
Once Sharon realizes she still doesn’t have her phone, she’ll wander over to where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has crashed.
Phyllis will be unconscious inside her burning vehicle, so Sharon will panic and ask herself what she’s done.
After Sharon rushes back to the cottage, she’ll scream into a pillow and struggle to know what to do.
A Nick hallucination will appear and try to convince Sharon that all this has gone too far.
Although Sharon will argue that they don’t even know what happened, she’ll ultimately worry that she tried to get rid of Phyllis.
Back with Nick, he’ll realize Phyllis is stuck in her car and will yell at her to wake up.
Chance will be on hand to help, but it’ll be Nick who breaks out the window so they can get to Phyllis.
Once Phyllis is dragged out of her vehicle, Nick will try to get her to open her eyes.
Phyllis will be taken to the hospital via ambulance, so Nick will call Summer and alert her to the news.
Despite the positive predictions Nick makes about Phyllis pulling through, he’ll seem concerned deep down.
Nick won’t want Summer to be alone, so he’ll urge her to go with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to Memorial.
Chance will notice the tire tracks and determine that a second vehicle veered into Phyllis’ lane before taking off.
Nick will fume over the idea of someone doing this to Phyllis intentionally and fleeing the scene.
Back at the cottage, Sharon will find her phone on the table and use it to call Nick. When Nick answers and says there’s been an accident, Sharon will immediately ask if Phyllis is OK.
Nick will question how Sharon knew Phyllis was in the crash and will ask if Sharon was involved in this.
Sharon will cry as she admits she needs to see Nick and will beg him to come to her place as soon as he can.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also get updates on Phyllis’ ordeal, so he’ll bring Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) up to speed.
However, Victor won’t want to ruin Abby and Devon’s wedding memories, so he’ll hold off on telling everyone else.
After Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) admits to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that she’s selling Chancellor to Victor, Billy will try to stop this.
Victor will do some gloating before Jill continues her conversation with Billy in private.
Jill will admit she’s not sure Billy will ever be ready to run the company, but he’ll warn that there’s no coming back if she goes through with this.
Later, Jill will tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about her decision and hint that even when she feels terrific, her test results say otherwise.
Jill won’t think she has the luxury of time to wait this out, so she’ll want a clean break to cut out all the stress.
Although Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will grill Victor about the obvious Chancellor purchase, he’ll refuse to talk business with her at the celebration.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will also stir up some tension at the reception by taking some digs about marriage being archaic and “a crock.”
After Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) clashes with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Victor will decide Diane can run Glissade.
That’ll leave Diane wondering what the catch is. Victor will push Diane to fire Kyle herself – and he’ll want her to do it tonight.
If Diane can do that, then Victor will vow to have the contract waiting for Diane in the morning.
Diane will suspect Victor doesn’t think she has the nerve to go through with this.
Nevertheless, Diane will drag Kyle away from his fellow guests to announce that she’s taken control of Glissade – which leaves Kyle officially OUT!
As Thursday’s Y&R episode concludes, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will slip into a cheap motel room and tell Ian Ward (Ray Wise) that “it’s done” and that everything has gone exactly according to plan.
Ian will smile as he exclaims over how wonderful that is.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jordan and Ian’s twisted partnership will bring even more curveballs, so stay tuned!
