The Young and the Restless Thursday, November 7 Recap: Diane’s SOS to Secret Partner – Summer Jealous Side Comes Out

The Young and the Restless Thursday, November 7 Recap: Diane’s SOS to Secret Partner, Summer Jealous Side Comes Out

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 7, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will barge in Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) suite and warn against exploiting Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) animosity toward Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Diane will insist Nikki can’t keep rooting for both Victor and Jack forever, but Nikki will refuse to pick a side and will think common ground is possible.

Although Diane will scoff over that, Nikki will push her to stop her plan to use Victor as part of her revenge.

In the GCAC dining area, Victor will pump the brakes on the product launch and warn Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to stop focusing on Glissade for the time being.

Victor will reveal that Diane is trying to undermine Kyle and that she’s threatened a lawsuit.

After Kyle rants about Diane betraying him along with Jack, Victor will seem like he’s picking up on the fact that Kyle’s still protective of his father.

However, Kyle will argue that he was just pointing out that Diane backstabbed them both.

Diane will follow Nikki downstairs to complain about her outburst, but Kyle will end up confronting Diane alone.

After Kyle accuses Diane of going to Victor for revenge help, he’ll think it proves the kind of person she is.

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki and Victor will bicker about Diane, but he’ll ultimately want to concentrate on a surprise he’s cooked up for her.

When Diane appears, Victor will demand to know how she got past security.

Diane will be more interested in talking about why Victor ratted her out to Kyle.

After Diane warns Victor to fire Kyle and let her run Glissade like she wants, Nikki will get confirmation that he’s the secret investor.

Nikki will privately complain to Victor again, but he’ll get her mind back on the surprise he’s been working on. Victor will insist it’s at the ranch, so he’ll blindfold Nikki and take her back to a recreation of their original home there.

Once the blindfold is removed, Nikki will wonder how this is possible and marvel over Victor’s grand gesture. It’ll lead to Nikki and Victor sharing an emotional embrace on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

Back with Diane, she’ll seem frustrated as she pours herself a drink in her suite.

Diane will get someone on the phone and admit they’ve got a problem since things aren’t turning out the way they planned.

At Society, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will gripe about Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) arresting Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and act like he should’ve done something to delay it or find another suspect.

Chance will explain that he had to follow orders and will hope it’s something Summer can get past.

Summer will admit she doesn’t want to lose what they share over this, so Chance will be relieved.

After Summer admits to watching Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) behavior and seeing the fear in her eyes, she’ll consider whether there might be some truth to Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) theory.

Chance just won’t think Sharon is capable of taking out Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) like that after getting to know her.

After Kyle comes home to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) playing a card game, he’ll accept some hugs from his son and appreciate them due to his rough day.

Claire will send Harrison off to the kitchen so she can quiz Kyle, who’ll ultimately ask Claire to have dinner with him.

When Claire and Kyle pop up at Society, they’ll speak with Chance and Summer in the sitting area.

Summer will get updates on Kyle and Claire leaving Harrison at home to watch a movie with Mrs. Martinez, so she’ll seem miffed over that news.

Chance will privately acknowledge that Claire and Kyle seem to be turning into a thing, so he’ll wonder if Summer has a problem with that.

As long as Claire continues to be a good nanny to Harrison, Summer will suggest she doesn’t care what Kyle and Claire do in their free time.

Even so, Summer will seem rather jealous!

At their table, Claire will ask Kyle about his work drama and acknowledge that she knows about Victor’s investment in Glissade.

Kyle will wind up asking Claire to attend Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) wedding with him, so she’ll accept the invitation.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire and Kyle’s romance still has some twists and turns ahead, so we’ll bring you predictions on any curveballs.
