The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 3, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will reel when she sees the news report about a body being found.
Still, “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) will push her to pull herself together or else she’s going to get caught.
At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will comfort Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) once he gets updates on Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) demise.
When Sharon walks in, she’ll be unsettled at the sight of Nick and Phyllis touching hands.
“Cameron” will act like Phyllis is just going to use this situation to lean on Nick unless Sharon goes through with his plan.
Despite Sharon’s resistance, “Cameron” will make predictions about getting rid of Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) being the answer.
Sharon will lash out at “Cameron” right as Nick joins her and asks if she’s OK.
After Sharon suggests Nick is the one who seems upset, he’ll explain what he heard from Phyllis about Heather’s corpse being found in the river.
Sharon will pretend she’s surprised and ask questions about what Heather was doing down there.
After Nick plays up how awful this is for Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), Sharon will blurt out that it’s all her fault.
Nick won’t understand, so Sharon will spin a story about how maybe Heather was distracted because of their issues and fell.
Even so, Nick will find it rather extreme for Sharon to blame herself for Heather’s fatal outcome.
Sharon will insist Nick is right and that she shouldn’t be making this about herself right now, but Nick will still seem concerned as he stares at her.
At Daniel’s place on Thursday’s Y&R episode, he’ll sit Lucy down to tell her that Heather died.
Lucy will be in denial and start coming up with excuses for why Heather might still be alive, but Daniel will argue that he saw her body in the morgue for himself.
Although Daniel won’t have answers about how this happened, he’ll do his best to console a distraught Lucy and let her know he’s not going anywhere.
Phyllis will also show up to offer support and will pull Lucy into a warm embrace.
As for Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), Daniel will fill him in on Heather’s demise over the phone and suggest it’d mean a lot if he could be there for Lucy.
In a moment alone, Daniel will smack the table and let out a scream before he sinks to the floor.
It’ll be hard for Daniel to cope with all the shock, anger and sadness he’s feeling.
Later, Daniel and Lucy will go for a walk in the park – just to get away from the apartment and the illogical expectation that Heather might come walking through the door.
Sharon will cross paths with them, but Daniel will insist it’s been a rough morning and try to hurry Lucy away.
However, Sharon will stop Daniel and Lucy so that she can offer her condolences based on what Nick told her.
Sharon will insist she’s so sorry and will reflect on the horrible things she said and did the last time she saw Heather.
After Sharon says she hopes Lucy can forgive her someday, she’ll reflect on not having a chance to earn Heather’s forgiveness – and for that, Sharon won’t know if she can forgive herself.
At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tell Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) about the feud that could be brewing now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is after Abbott-Chancellor.
Afterward, Victoria will complain about Billy making Victor the villain of the story, but Billy will contend that it’s true.
Billy will also push Victoria to offer more information on Victor’s plans so he can be prepared, but she’ll think she’s said all she can.
In the jazz lounge, Victor will warn Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that they have to be patient when it comes to their Chancellor takeover.
That being said, Lily will seem eager to move things along and land back on the throne.
In addition, Lily will suggest maybe they could get a spy to help them.
Phyllis’ name will come up, but Lily will realize she’s Billy’s strongest ally and getting her assistance won’t be easy.
Victor will hint that there are ways of using Phyllis without her cooperation, so the wheels will start turning for Lily.
Once Lily settles on an idea, she’ll promise Victor that he won’t be disappointed.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily’s plot will inevitably lead to trouble, so don’t miss the tricks she’s got up her sleeve!
