The Young and the Restless Tuesday, August 20 Recap: Kyle & Audra’s Double-Cross Game – Billy Done with Lily

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 20, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will face off with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and accuse her of plotting to push him out of Abbott-Chancellor when the right opportunity comes along.

Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) arrival will break up the fight, but Billy will still be fuming as he updates Chance at Society later.

Once Billy decides to force Lily out of the company, he’ll ignore Chance’s attempts to talk him out of it and text Lily to meet ASAP.

At the GCAC, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will refuse to walk away from Glissade despite the Newman-Abbott feud she’s walked into.

Instead, Audra will plan to make sure Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) crashes and burns.

Although Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have concerns, Audra will feel like it’ll be a win-win situation since she can run Glissade on her own and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can watch Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son fail.

In the jazz lounge, Kyle will admit to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) that he doesn’t trust Audra, but he’ll insist this partnership isn’t a permanent situation.

Once Kyle outperforms Audra and plays hardball when necessary, he’ll eventually plan to run Glissade alone.

Kyle will maintain that Audra isn’t a threat to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and will hope Summer can agree they should forget about the lawyers.

Summer will still need to think about it since she’ll worry about how secretive Kyle’s being about this whole arrangement.

Once Summer exits, Kyle and Audra will essentially call a truce where they agree to share info and build trust like real partners should.

It’ll be obvious that Audra and Kyle are still scheming against each other despite their agreement.

Back at Society, Chance will give Summer the news about Billy planning to cut Lily loose.

However, Chance will make a prediction about Lily coming out on top in the end.

At Crimson Lights, Lily will talk to Nate about her dilemma since Billy knows she wants to push him out.

Nate will acknowledge that Billy has Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) voting power and wonder how she’ll get rid of him.

Other Y&R spoilers say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will hear about Jill’s illness and insist it feels wrong for Victor to use it in his battle with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

However, Victor will think the threat of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) leaking it at Newman Media will be enough.

If not, Victor will suggest there are other ways of handling Billy and ultimately ousting him.

Nikki will remind Victor that they’ll still have Lily to contend with, but Victor will think his wife can set up an encounter and finesse her.

Victor will want Nikki to keep her eye on the prize when it comes to running Chancellor Industries.

At the athletic club, Nikki will grumble about Victor not being honest about his plans at Newman Media since he clearly wanted Adam to be his attack dog.

Although Nikki will ask about other targets, Victor will try to get her mind off business so they can enjoy their dinner together.

As luck would have it, Lily will come along and greet the Newmans.

That’ll give Nikki a chance to quiz Lily about how things are really going with Billy at Abbott-Chancellor.

Victor will also corner Billy nearby for a private word together, so there’s much more drama ahead.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some dirty moves are still to come as Billy and Victor’s conflict heats up!
