The Young and the Restless Tuesday, August 6 Recap: Sally Cries to Billy – Faith Spills Lucy’s Drinking to Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 6, reveals that a tearful Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will open up to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about it being a year since she lost Ava Spectra, but she won’t be certain that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) remembers since he didn’t say anything when they talked earlier.

Billy will feel like Adam’s just focusing on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and will defend him as a good dad.

After Billy reflects on losing Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), he’ll insist Ava would be proud of Sally and will hug her as he offers comfort.

At home later, Sally will flash back to her heartbreak over losing Ava at the hospital and will hold Ava’s pink hat in as she sobs.

At the GCAC, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will give Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) a hard time about choosing Billy over her family, but she’ll argue that she chose Chancellor instead.

Once Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrives with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Lily will quiz Victor about his plans and push him to reconsider going after Chancellor.

However, Victor will act like Lily misunderstood the warning he gave Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and will suggest he’s trying to protect her from Billy’s typical self-sabotage.

After Victor and Nikki head to a table, Nate will ask Lily what she’ll do if Billy sends Chancellor into a nosedive.

Lily will act insulted over people acting like she’s weak with bad judgment, so she’ll be eager to prove everyone wrong.

When Lily finds Billy at Crimson Lights later, she’ll admit she ran into Victor and will feel confident that he’s indeed coming after Chancellor.

After Lily suggests she made a mistake, Billy will ask if she’s bailing on him.

“I’m not leaving Chancellor, Billy. You are,” Lily will insist on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

At the concert, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will be tipsy enough to lose her balance during the concert, so Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will drag her out of there and get Lucy to admit she indeed drank a little.

Once Lucy confesses that she was nervous and trying to relax with some booze she stole from home, Faith will insist they’re leaving NOW.

After they grab a rideshare, Lucy will beg Faith not to tell Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) about this.

At the cottage, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in another hallucination and act like he’s there because she wants him to be.

Sharon will contend that it’s because of her trauma, but “Cameron” will suggest he can help her.

Without her meds, “Cameron” will hint that Sharon’s mind is free to face the things she’s been avoiding.

Sharon will determine that everything is jumbled up in her mind since she saved Faith from Cameron, but she couldn’t save Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

After “Cameron” notes that Shaon has to live with that every day, he’ll question whether that’s really living.

When talk turns to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), “Cameron” will argue that Sharon didn’t deserve how her ex treated her.

Once “Cameron” suggests maybe there’s something only he can give Sharon, he’ll disappear as Faith returns with Lucy.

Faith will initially cover for Lucy by acting like she simply got sick at the concert, but she’ll be visibly fed up with Lucy’s behavior.

After Daniel picks Lucy up and takes her to the coffeehouse, he’ll pump her for info about what happened until Lucy finally blurts out that she drank.

Daniel will reel over Lucy’s news that she snuck some vodka and that Faith found out about it.

Back with Faith, she’ll also come clean to Sharon about Lucy’s drinking, so Sharon will think Daniel and Heather should get updates so they can watch out for their daughter.

“The way that you couldn’t watch out for Cassie,” another Cameron hallucination will say as he pops back up.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sharon is headed down an awful road thanks to these Cameron visions, so stick with us for more predictions on all the turmoil.
