The Young and the Restless Tuesday, June 25 Recap: Sharon Spies Nick & Phyllis Holding Hands, Cassie Trauma Trigger

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 25, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will gush over how excited she is to have Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) home for a few weeks.

Faith won’t want any pity over her breakup and will act like she’s almost over it anyway, but Sharon will think it’s better to be honest about feelings instead of bottling them up.

Faith will eventually get Sharon talking about her former romance with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and whether she regrets that they didn’t go beyond friendship again.

Sharon will suggest things ended up how they were supposed to and will admit she wouldn’t be surprised if Nick got back together with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) since they’ve always had their own unique connection.

Sharon will also think back on some difficult Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) memories as Faith wishes she could’ve known her other big sister.

At Society, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will give Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) updates on the deal he struck with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so they’ll both give their approval.

Once Faith shows up looking for some friends she promised to hang out with, she’ll greet Daniel and vaguely remember Heather from when she was younger.

Lucy will meet Faith and start gushing like she’s starstruck. It turns out Lucy and her friends heard the news about Faith being kidnapped and having explosives strapped to her.

Lucy will start quizzing Faith, but Daniel and Heather will shush her. However, Faith won’t mind talking about her ordeal, so she’ll plan to meet up with Lucy sometime and talk.

After Faith’s pals message her about a different location, she’ll take off as Sharon’s arriving.

Sharon will chat with Daniel, Heather and Lucy briefly, but she’ll turn down an invitation to join them and will pick up the takeout she came for.

While Sharon’s by the bar, she’ll have an unsettling flashback from shortly after Cassie’s accident.

Sharon will recall blaming Daniel at the hospital and having to be physically restrained after threatening him.

Once Sharon snaps back to reality, she’ll rush out of the restaurant with her food.

At Crimson Lights, Nick will quiz Phyllis about her job hunt and grow worried about her plan to potentially get Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to give her one after things implode at Chancellor-Winters.

Nick will warn that Phyllis should go where she’s actually wanted and will act like Billy’s trouble. Although Phyllis will complain initially, she’ll appreciate Nick’s concern for her and will clasp hands with him across the table.

When Sharon arrives on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll seem unsettled at the sight of Nick and Phyllis’ warm moment of handholding.

At Chancellor-Winters, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will assume it’s showtime now that Lily has moved forward with the plan to dupe Billy.

Once Billy and Lily return to the office, they’ll address the insurmountable conflict and the solution that they’ve worked out.

Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will walk in and want to be part of this discussion, but Devon will ultimately kick her out.

Before Mamie goes, she’ll mention Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) having Glissade ripped out from under him.

Mamie will act like maybe Devon bears some blame in his messed-up relationship with Tucker, who genuinely wanted to make things right with his son.

Once the meeting gets back on track, Devon will act riled over Lily’s announcement about joining Chancellor’s team after undoing the merger.

Devon will wonder what Billy needs Lily for and will act like Billy is just using Lily to get what he wants.

Lily will snap that no one is pulling her strings and will stand by her belief that this is the best move.

Billy will want to get Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) on a video call for a board vote, but he’ll relent once Lily persuades him to let this marinate for a bit.

Once Billy exits, Lily will angrily question Devon about what he was doing, but Devon will reply that he was selling their plan.

Lily will think it seems more like Devon was trying to sabotage it instead!
