The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 14, reveals that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will arrive at Chancellor-Winters and make a heartfelt plea to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as he tries to avoid all the lawsuit drama.
Daniel will push Lily to at least let him keep Princess Luisa since it was like a love letter to Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
Although Lily will be cold about the whole thing, she’ll eventually agree to bring it up at the board meeting when it’s convenient.
At Society later, Daniel will recognize Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) from her music and admit it got him through some rough times.
Tessa will suspect Daniel is going through a rough time now as well and will offer a sympathetic ear.
After Daniel comes clean about cheating on Lily and the mess that’s caused with Omega Sphere, Tessa will reflect on the time she stole Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) journal for song inspiration.
Since Tessa was able to put the pieces of her life back together, Daniel will joke about needing her step-by-step plan on how to do that, too.
Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) southern alter aka “Belle” will approach Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and hope she’s put Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) behind her.
After Audra defends her relationship with Tucker, “Belle” will wish them the best and gush over Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) being a charmer.
Audra will question Ashley’s relationship with her therapist, but “Belle” will make it clear that their connection is personal rather than professional.
At the GCAC, Tucker will think it looks like Alan is checking out, so Alan will act like he’s got other business elsewhere.
That’ll lead to Tucker pushing Alan to stick around and help Ashley since she won’t get it otherwise.
Tucker will explain some of Ashley’s strange mood swings and mention the time she talked to Audra about herself in the third person.
Although Alan will suspect Tucker is trying to relieve some of his guilt, Tucker will suggest he’s taken responsibility for his mistakes in his marriage to Ashley.
Once an employee returns Alan’s keycard, Tucker will realize Alan was already paying to extend his stay.
It’ll amuse Tucker since Alan played him so that he’d open up more.
After Alan takes off, Tucker will meet with Audra and learn that Ashley just wished them well.
When Tucker contends that they should officially move on from the topic of Ashley, he’ll suggest taking an earlier flight to Paris.
Audra will worry that Tucker is running away, but he’ll insist that’s not the case.
Back with “Belle,” she’ll get Alan’s updates on his conversation with Tucker.
Alan will feel like Tucker seems worried and perhaps cares about Ashley more than she thinks.
“Belle” will just want to focus on what’s right in front of her and will end up in the park with Alan soon after.
Although “Belle” will struggle to remember Ashley’s past due to “Ms. Abbott’s” sabotage, she’ll offer a vague answer to Alan’s question about Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and change the subject quickly.
As she touches Alan’s chest, “Belle” will admit she really wants to kiss him and that she’s wanted to ever since he first came to town.
Once Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) finally gets on a video call with Lily, she’ll confirm that she’s stepping back and giving Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) all her decision-making power.
Jill will insist Billy is on equal footing with Lily and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) now, so she’ll think they have to respect him.
Lily will complain that this isn’t the solution and argue that Jill just made things so much worse.
Over with Devon and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), he’ll give her the latest news about Billy and suspect it’s a power play on his part.
Lily will call following Jill’s video chat and admit Billy’s promotion is legit, so Devon will mention having a stop to make before he comes to the office.
At the athletic club, Devon will stop Tucker before he catches a flight with Audra. After Devon asks if Tucker has a second, he’ll admit he could use Tucker’s help.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will make the rest of his pitch soon enough, so stay tuned for more predictions on Tucker and Devon’s alliance against Billy.
