The Young and the Restless Tuesday, November 5 Recap: Phyllis’ Funeral Trap for Sharon – Damien’s DNA Sample

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 5, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tell Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) that he doesn’t think he’s the right person to find his half-brother, Damien.

After Amy opens up about Damien’s struggles and admits she doesn’t have the financial resources to turn to professionals, Nate will ask if this is all one big scam.

However, Amy will offer up a birth certificate for Damien along with his social security number and a lock of his hair for DNA testing.

That’ll give Nate more reasons to keep mulling things over before he gives Amy a final decision.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will talk to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) funeral and burial tomorrow.

The service will be the perfect place to set a trap for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as far as Phyllis is concerned.

Summer still won’t be convinced of Sharon’s guilt and won’t approve of Phyllis wrecking the service like this, but Phyllis will remain determined to score a confession.

At the GCAC on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will summon Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and push her to come back to Abbott-Chancellor as his co-CEO.

Lily will know this is happening because of Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and will ask Billy how they’d ever trust each other again, but he’ll think they can focus on preserving the company.

When Phyllis walks over and realizes Billy is trying to hire Lily back, she’ll interrupt their discussion.

Lily will end up leaving, so Billy will scold Phyllis for derailing an important meeting.

Later, Phyllis will drown her sorrows and speak with the bartender about a life-altering mission.

When it comes to saving Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), Phyllis will stick to her plan and vow to prove everyone wrong.

At the coffeehouse, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will quiz Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) about why it seems like he’s dragging his feet on moving in the Abbott mansion.

Alan will admit he’s worried about what Traci’s family will think – especially Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) since she’s coming home soon.

Although Alan won’t want to stir up any bad Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) memories for Ashley, Traci will insist she already talked to her sister and that Ashley is looking forward to seeing him.

Once Traci reassures Alan about the whole situation, he’ll suggest that he needs a key and will seal the deal on moving in.

Billy will eventually arrive to learn the couple’s happy news and will vent about not wanting to look like a screw-up at Abbott-Chancellor.

After Billy says he can’t fail, he’ll talk about the gloves coming off and battling every enemy – even if that includes his own mother.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will do everything he can to stay in power at Abbott-Chancellor, so we’ll bring you more predictions on his sneaky side and updates on any backlash that might result.
