The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 8, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will find herself on the receiving end of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) wrath again.
Phyllis is torn up over Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) heartbreak, so she’ll take her anger out on Sharon – much to Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) dismay.
It looks like Nick will spot Phyllis ripping into Sharon and decide he needs to intervene.
Sharon may fight back if Phyllis pushes her hard enough, but we have to acknowledge that she deserves Phyllis’ fury!
Since Sharon is hiding the truth about Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) grim fate and setting up Daniel, she’s sure to be uncomfortable when Phyllis chews her out.
There’s a good chance Phyllis will complain about Sharon creating a rift between Heather and Daniel – one that seemingly sent Heather off on her own and led her into a terrible situation.
Nick may warn Phyllis to settle down and maintain that Heather’s demise isn’t Sharon’s fault, but Phyllis will continue to play the blame game.
Although Nick seems poised to play rescuer, he may also push Sharon to just keep her distance right now since Phyllis’ emotions are all over the place.
Other Y&R spoilers say Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will caution Daniel when it comes to his next move.
Daniel may become fixated on who sent the texts from Heather’s phone, but Chance may warn about the danger they could be dealing with and push Daniel to just let the cops work.
At some point soon, Sharon will inevitably alert the police to the evidence stashed in Daniel’s penthouse.
It’s just a matter of how Sharon will leak that news and whether she can avoid pointing the finger at herself in the process.
Next, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will add to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) relationship struggles.
We’ll see Diane and Jack get into another heated argument thanks to the trouble Victor stirs up.
As far as Diane’s concerned, she won’t think Jack has her back the way he’s supposed to. Jack will apparently act like Diane is still a messy manipulator, so she’ll put him on full blast as a result.
Based on our Y&R predictions, Jack will have a hard time smoothing things over after Victor’s marriage sabotage, which will affect Jabot’s leadership team as well.
