The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 24 Recap: Sharon’s Whiskey Poison Scheme, Daniel’s Life at Stake

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 24, reveals that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will give Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) updates on the situation with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), who demanded space after everyone pushed too hard.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also join the conversation and wonder if Sharon might be at the Sedona spa, but Mariah will admit she already confirmed her mom wasn’t there.

There’ll be some talk about Nick’s conversation with Sharon’s doctor, who couldn’t divulge any private information.

Although Nick at least spilled his concerns, the doctor suggested all they could do is call the police if they thought Sharon was a danger to herself or others.

Mariah will admit she worried when Sharon said she couldn’t live that way, but Sharon assured her that she had no plans for self-harm.

At Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) place, he’ll give Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) tea as a peace offering since he knows she doesn’t like whiskey.

Heather and Daniel will rehash an off-screen conversation from last night, which involved Heather relenting on staying in town.

Daniel will be glad that Heather’s willing to stick around and will mention his seemingly positive discussion with Sharon since she apologized.

After Heather and Daniel discuss some new job opportunities, they’ll kiss as they finish making up.

Heather will also be on board with joining Daniel, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) for dinner later.

Since Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will be doing community service, Heather will remind Daniel that she’ll need to be picked up.

Afterward on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Daniel will head to Society and face Nick, Mariah and Tessa’s questions.

Once Daniel realizes they don’t know where Sharon is, he’ll want them to keep him in the loop on their efforts to find her.

In the park, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will overhear Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) leaving a message for Sharon and will notice she seems upset.

Faith will act cagey at first, but she’ll finally decide maybe Adam could help.

After Faith brings up how Adam helped Sharon when she was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder, she’ll admit Sharon isn’t acting like herself.

Faith will wonder if Adam can help track Sharon down, but he’ll shy away from the idea.

However, Adam will give Faith some reassurance since he’ll know Nick’s on top of this.

In her motel room, Sharon will have a nightmare about hearing knocking at the bathroom door.

When Sharon opens it, Daniel will keep saying Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) name until he collapses onto Sharon.

Once Sharon finds blood on the back of Daniel’s head, she’ll wake up startled and bicker with “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) about the dream.

“Cameron” will insist that if Sharon wants the nightmares to stop, she needs to do what needs to be done.

Sharon won’t remember checking in this motel room – nor will she remember the white paper bag that “Cameron” points out on the bed. “Cameron” will suggest that Sharon was on autopilot and invite her to look inside.

Once Sharon opens the bag and pulls out a bottle of poison, she’ll wonder if maybe she should just use it on herself.

“Cameron” will nix that plan and contend that Sharon’s family would blame themselves forever if she did that.

Instead, “Cameron” will urge Sharon to finally get justice for Cassie, so Sharon will force open the lock of Daniel’s penthouse with a paperclip and slip inside.

Sharon will use gloves to handle Daniel’s bottle of whiskey and will contemplate putting poison in it. “Cameron” will be there to give Sharon one more push to finish the job.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will have a big decision to make, so we’ll pass along more predictions on any shocking news that’s still to come.
