The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, March 4, reveals that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will plan to stick with her “reverse psychology” approach and will get another pep talk from Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).
However, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will catch Christine off guard when he shows up at Crimson Lights and admits he’s added some new tour dates.
When Christine finds out Danny’s set to leave town in two weeks, she’ll wonder if he’s really walking away from their chance to be together.
Christine will blame Danny for allowing Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) to derail their second chance, so he’ll start to see the light.
At Society, Phyllis will pressure Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) to let her rent the whole restaurant out tonight.
Abby will insist that’s absolutely not happening, but Phyllis will keep at it until she finally negotiates a deal.
Since Abby’s final reservation for the evening will be at 8:30 p.m., she’ll allow Phyllis to come at 10:00 p.m. – though Phyllis will have to double the staff’s pay and won’t have anyone on clean-up duty.
Abby will express curiosity over Phyllis’ latest victim, but Phyllis won’t share her romantic plans for Danny.
At one point, Phyllis will imagine her dinner going marvelously well after Danny makes his famous sauce for her.
It’ll be obvious that Phyllis is hoping this meal will seal her future with Danny, so she’ll text him with the location and time.
Christine will see the text at the coffeehouse and once again complain, so Danny will get that he has to shut Phyllis down or else she’ll just keep at it.
After Christine reminds Danny that he told her she was the only one he wanted, he’ll insist he meant that and will plant a passionate kiss.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will visit Dr. Alcott, who’ll only want Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in the room with Connor for her initial assessment.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be miffed over having to sit in the waiting room with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll urge Adam to cool it so that Connor doesn’t pick up on the tense vibe.
Once Billy discusses his own experience with therapy and his gambling addiction, Adam will reflect on Billy’s old “Making of a Monster” story that helped him unlock repressed memories and work through childhood trauma.
Billy will admit that wasn’t his finest hour, but Adam will suppose he should thank Billy for releasing it.
In Dr. Alcott’s office, she’ll get Connor talking about his intrusive thoughts, which he tries to cope with by counting lucky numbers, cleaning, putting things in order and getting rid of germs.
Dr. Alcott will determine that Connor has obsessive-compulsive disorder in her professional opinion, so she’ll meet with Chelsea and Adam privately to discuss Connor’s treatment.
Although Connor’s condition can’t be cured, it can be managed.
Billy will hang out with Connor for a bit, so Connor will confess that he liked Dr. Alcott since she didn’t make him feel like a freak.
After Billy assures Connor that he’s indeed not a freak, he’ll insist he’s proud of Connor for having courage and being honest.
As Monday’s Y&R episode winds down, Adam and Chelsea will give Connor updates on Dr. Alcott’s OCD diagnosis.
Although Connor will seem scared of what this means for him, he’ll get reassurance that he’s going to be all right.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea and Adam will be determined to help Connor figure out a positive path forward, so stay tuned for more news on how they’ll pull that off.
