The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 13, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will cross paths with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and perhaps sense that she’s got a lot on her mind.
Nick may wonder what Phyllis had done this time and push her to open up about whatever mess she’s made.
Of course, Phyllis will rush to her own defense and try to put the blame on Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) when it comes to all the love triangle chaos.
Phyllis may insist that if Christine would just back off, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) would see that he wanted to be more than friends.
Y&R spoilers hint that Nick might dish out some tough love and contend that Phyllis is pushing too hard. If it’s meant to be, Nick may think Phyllis should be the one to back off and let Danny pursue her instead.
Regardless, Nick will bond with Phyllis and even visit Society with her to grab a bite to eat. As luck would have it, that’s also where Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will take Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) on their next date.
Summer will panic when Chance invites Phyllis and Nick to share their table, but Phyllis will like the thought of pestering the pair.
It may be Nick who comes to Summer’s rescue since he’ll assume a date is probably in progress. Nick will do his best to pull Phyllis away so that Summer can run her own love life.
Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) whole world is a trainwreck right now since she’s so determined to believe that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is gaslighting her.
Despite the mounting evidence, Ashley will maintain that Tucker’s guilty of over-the-top anger and that he put on an aggressive show at the Paris bistro.
Tucker will stand by his innocence once Ashley finally convinces him to face off with her again. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) might defend Tucker as well, so that may rile Ashley up even further.
Nevertheless, Tucker will urge Ashley to see that she’s acting insane and that she’s taken all this too far.
Ashley has a history of mental problems, so she could be on a dangerous downward spiral if she’s not careful!
