The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 6, reveals that trouble is brewing for the Newman clan now that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has escaped from her prison facility in Oregon. There’s no proof that Jordan survived yet, but you can bet that proof is indeed coming!
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) lost her cool over that unknown phone call the last time fans saw her. It’s not surprising that Nikki’s fears about Jordan will send her on a total downward spiral.
Nikki is in a fragile place right now, so the news about Jordan will leave her with a ton of anxiety – and that’ll make it even easier for her to cave in and have a drink.
Of course, one drink will turn into another and another. It won’t be long until Nikki’s sloshed in a bar somewhere, so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have to go collect her.
It turns out Jack will get Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) involved in his latest effort to help Nikki, but Lauren may contend that it’s unfair to leave Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) out of the loop.
Lauren may play a crucial role in convincing Jack to summon Victor – or she could always just do it herself and force Jack to get on board.
Whatever the case, Victor will already be on edge over Nikki’s well-being on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
Nikki might lie to Victor about where she’s going since Victor will ultimately suspect something’s off.
If Victor’s security people don’t keep up with Nikki like they should, it could leave Victor worried sick about where she is – at least until Jack and Lauren offer updates later.
On another note, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will head to Society, where Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will explain a new business proposal.
Since Abby will make a huge choice about her future, she may urge Tessa to become Society’s new manager.
That would give Abby a chance to concentrate on her Chancellor-Winters board seat and all the advice she plans on giving Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) at the company.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will reach a turning point in her career, so stay tuned for her bold move and how it’ll affect Tessa.
