The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 31, reveals that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will worry since there’ll be no sign of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) anywhere and the cottage will be a total mess.
Faith will give Mariah updates on her concerns about Sharon not taking her meds, so Mariah will call Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to ask if he’s seen Sharon today.
Nick will admit that he hasn’t, but he’ll plan to stay in touch with Mariah in case something changes.
In the park, Sharon will hallucinate that Nick’s there with her, but she’ll admit she knows he isn’t real – just like her visions of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) aren’t real.
Even so, Sharon will open up to “Nick” about how much Cassie has been on her mind and the guilt that’s never left her over their daughter’s demise.
“Nick” will think Sharon needs to fall in love again, but Sharon will point out that she’s already tried that.
Although Sharon will suggest she can’t truly move on with someone other than Nick, she’ll also feel like they can’t back what they lost.
“Nick” will push Sharon not to give up and will hint that maybe being together is the only way for them to heal.
After “Nick” pulls Sharon into a kiss, she’ll snap out of it as the hallucination disappears.
Once Sharon goes home and faces questions about whether she’s OK, she’ll confess to Mariah and Faith that she doesn’t think she is.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a meeting with Nick and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).
After Victor asks if Devon wants to take Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) down, he’ll tip him off to his plan to scoop up Chancellor.
Devon won’t want to get involved in all the drama, but he’ll worry about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) being in the middle of this mess.
Victor will stress the importance of convincing Lily to join Winters’ team before the blowup.
After the meeting, Nick will question why Victor did that since Devon will go running to Lily, who could blab to Billy.
Victor will hint that maybe exactly what he wants to happen, but Nick will seem puzzled over his strategy.
However, Nick will ultimately turn his attention to Mariah’s phone call since she’ll send an SOS.
Once Nick learns something isn’t right with Sharon, he’ll bolt for the cottage right away.
Meanwhile, Lily will approve the logo adjustments that Billy made and will quiz him about what’s bothering him.
Lily will assume it’s about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but she won’t be able to pry much info out of Billy.
Once Devon shows up on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll request an urgent conversation with Lily over coffee and will stress that this is important.
At Crimson Lights, Devon will warn Lily that she needs to reconsider joining Winters since something has changed.
Lily will balk at the idea, but Devon will insist Lily needs to do it now before “all hell breaks loose.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon’s prediction will leave Lily curious and unsettled, so stay tuned to see if his news will change anything for her.
