The Young and the Restless Wednesday, June 12 Recap: Victor Spills Secret, Needs Ruthless Adam to Destroy Enemys

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 12, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deny wanting to punish Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), but he’ll make it clear that he still has issues with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

After Nikki leaves in a huff, Victor will dodge Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) questions about his corporate shakeup and push him to get Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on board with coming back to Newman Enterprises.

As for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) taking over at Newman Media, Victor will feel confident that Nikki’s going to come around and see things his way eventually.

At the GCAC on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will admit the idea of a dinner date with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) sounds charming, so he’ll agree to pick her up at 7:00 p.m.

Although Cole will be glad over the news, he’ll also seem worried as he flashes back to Victor’s warning to stay away from Victoria.

Next, Cole will think back to Victor’s new orders to redeem himself by befriending Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so he’ll remain pensive over Victor’s mysterious mission.

In the park, Cole will come along while Kyle, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) are there for ice cream. That’ll give Cole a chance to invite Kyle out for a beer sometime.

After Cole turns down an offer to join in their little ice cream party, he’ll offer updates on his imminent date with Victoria.

Once Cole leaves, Claire will express excitement to Kyle over her parents potentially getting back together.

Although Claire will feel guilty about her devious actions being the reason Victoria and Cole first reconnected, Kyle will feel certain that finding her was the best part for them.

At home, Adam will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that they shouldn’t answer the door since it might be trouble.

Despite Adam’s fears about getting a visit from family members tangled up in Victor’s latest round of drama, it’ll be Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) who’s there to meet with Sally.

Summer will like Sally’s ideas and will have a productive conversation with her, so they’ll feel good about where things are headed at Marchetti.

After Sally makes a pitch to bring Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) back to the company, Summer will voice her concerns before agreeing to think about it.

Once Summer heads to the Abbott mansion, she’ll hope to take Harrison out for ice cream.

It’ll leave Summer disappointed when she finds out Harrison already got some with Claire and Kyle.

Harrison will also thank Claire for the best day ever before he heads upstairs to wash his hands.

Kyle will sense that Summer’s still struggling with this arrangement, so she’ll admit to feeling a twinge of something since Harrison is so drawn to Claire.

That said, Summer will acknowledge that Claire makes Harrison happy and will act like that’s the most important thing.

At the tack house, Nikki will talk to Victoria about her belief that Victor’s punishing her and will stand against the idea of Adam taking charge of Newman Media since he’d never leave.

Part of Victoria will be tempted to make a corporate comeback, so Nikki will push her to fill in for her at Newman Media instead of letting Adam take over.

However, Victoria will remain unsure about going back to work since her children are going to need her, especially once Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) start getting to know Claire.

When Nick arrives, he’ll admit Victor wants him to talk Victoria into running Newman Media, but he won’t buy the idea that their dad wants to make things harder on Nikki while she’s recovering.

Nikki won’t see how Victor could possibly think replacing her with Adam would make things easier, so she’ll continue to believe there’s more going on.

Nick and Victoria will agree Victor as a hidden agenda, but they won’t be able to nail down what it is.

At Society, Victor will find Adam while he’s waiting on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for a meeting about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Once Victor joins Adam at a table, Adam will push his dad to reveal why he really wants him back at Newman Media.

After Adam suggests the truth is the only way he’ll consider Victor’s proposal, Victor will point out that he doesn’t respond well to threats.

Adam will deny that it’s a threat and simply suggest that this conversation is over if Victor doesn’t come clean.

Once Victor swears Adam to secrecy, he’ll confess that Adam is an ally, not a pawn.

Victor will need Newman Media to destroy an enemy – and he’ll need someone as ruthless as him in charge there for that to happen.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will smirk like he’s pleased over Victor’s admission, so stick with us for more predictions on the dangerous plot ahead.
