The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 22, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will enjoy some ice cream in the park before Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) comes along and spies a flirty moment between them.
After Lily approaches, she’ll give Audra the cold shoulder and remind Nate about the video call that he’s supposed to be present for soon.
Once they’re alone, Audra will assure Nate that she doesn’t mind Lily’s disapproval and will accept his offer to meet for lunch later.
At Crimson Lights, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will bump into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who’ll hear about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) causing drama – especially now that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has transferred all her power to him.
Once Jack suggests Billy’s actions tend to come from a place of insecurity, he’ll hope everyone at Chancellor-Winters can figure things out.
After Devon heads to the office, he’ll hear about Lily witnessing Nate and Audra’s flirty interaction.
Lily will worry about Audra and Nate potentially scheming together, but Devon won’t think Nate would be dumb enough to blow his second chance on her.
Once Nate arrives, Lily will give him a hard time about Audra, but won’t think it’s some scandal that he’s spending time with her since he was open about that.
Nate will suggest that he’s just supporting Audra as a friend in the aftermath of her Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) breakup.
At the jazz lounge, Tucker will reject Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) alter as “Ms. Abbott” keeps trying to lure him into her web.
After Tucker asks if he’s speaking with Ashley right now, he’ll act like he never knows which version of her that he’s going to get.
Tucker will think Ashley needs to see a legitimate therapist and will assume she sent Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) away because she was afraid of what he might find out about her.
Once “Ms. Abbott” gets fed up and heads for the exit, “Belle” will insist “Ms. Abbott” tried it her way and failed.
After “Belle” tells “Ms. Abbott” to let go, Ashley will suddenly go limp and collapse in Tucker’s arms.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack will come home to some horrifying updates since Alan will admit he thinks they’re dealing with multiple personas here.
However, Alan will dismiss Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) suggestion that this has anything to do with a brain tumor recurrence since the symptoms don’t fit.
Alan will also feel like this bigger than something that’d be caused by a simple romantic split.
Jack will realize Alan’s saying that some larger trauma in Paris may have happened after Tucker left, so Traci will wonder how they’ll find out what that trauma is.
In Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dungeon, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will shout at Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to wake her up and demand answers.
Jordan will be relieved to see Cole and will act like her wonderful nephew’s going to be her hero!
After Jordan explains that Victor locked her down there and keeps returning to gloat, she’ll insist she’s learned her lesson.
Jordan will promise to leave town and never come back if Cole will let her go.
Cole will refuse to trust Jordan, so she’ll try another strategy and suggest he should call the cops.
Jordan will insist Victor is insane and make it clear that she wants him to go down for holding her hostage.
After Jordan begs for food and help, Cole will insist he can’t call the police and will need time to think.
As Cole heads back upstairs, Jordan will remain frustrated down in her cell.
Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Cole will be distracted as he joins Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) following their time in the stables.
Victor will also pop up and wonder what Cole’s still doing in the main house, so he’ll lie that he got caught up on a phone call to London.
During lunch at Society, Cole will be pensive as Claire discusses her research on children’s learning styles and how she rejected the nanny job offer because of Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Once Cole excuses himself, he’ll leave Claire and Victoria to talk while he steps outside.
That’ll give Cole a chance to get Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on the phone, so he’ll wonder how soon Michael can meet him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Cole will give Michael some huge news before long, so stick with us for more predictions on the next chapter of Jordan’s saga.
