The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 11, reveals that Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will beg Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to come over and talk while her parents are gone. Faith will reluctantly stop by Lucy’s place and get updates on Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) going off on her earlier.
Although Faith will be sorry that Lucy is upset, she’ll agree with Sharon about them needing to keep their distance from each other.
Faith will also suggest Lucy might want to see a therapist, so Lucy will complain about Sharon influencing Faith and snap at her to go see her real friends.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) the news about Sharon’s latest attack on her family and insist she’s out of control.
Phyllis will urge Nick to think about checking Sharon in Fairview, but he’ll act like Sharon just needs more time to adjust to her meds and settle down after the crash.
Afterward, Phyllis will meet up with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and ultimately Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), who’ll warn Phyllis to avoid Sharon and butt out since she could make things worse.
Back with Nick on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll hear about Faith clearing up her stance with Lucy. Once talk turns to Sharon, both Faith and Nick will be concerned about her mental state.
At the cottage, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will sneak in and plan to snoop around to see if Sharon is taking her meds.
Sharon will come home unexpectedly, so Mariah will make up an excuse about borrowing a necklace from Faith.
While Sharon is in the kitchen, Mariah will look in her purse and find an ibuprofen bottle.
Once Mariah heads upstairs, she’ll return with the necklace to back up her cover story.
Mariah will notice that Sharon seems on edge, so Sharon will blame it on her tense encounters with Lucy, Phyllis and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Although Mariah will offer to stick around for lunch, Sharon will just want to take a nap.
Once Sharon is snoozing on the sofa alone, she’ll dream about Nick kissing her and suggesting they still have a spark after all these years together.
An adult Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) will also appear in this dream, so she’ll tell Sharon all about her life as a veterinarian and how she’s dating Nick’s favorite minor league baseball pitcher.
Talk will turn to the concert at the memorial pavilion created after teenage Daniel’s death.
Sharon will come to believe this is the life she would’ve had if Cassie hadn’t intervened that night.
Once Cassie vanishes along with Nick, Sharon will seem frantic to get her daughter back.
After Sharon wakes up, “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) will steer her into realizing Daniel should’ve died in that accident.
Back with Mariah, she’ll meet up with Nick and Faith to discuss her findings at the cottage.
Mariah will claim Sharon is on her meds and that she found a prescription bottle with the appropriate number of pills in the medicine cabinet upstairs.
Once Mariah suggests maybe Sharon is still getting used to the new meds, she’ll point out that it can take weeks.
Nick won’t think they have that long to figure this out and will clearly seem rattled over Sharon’s unhinged behavior.
