The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 19-23 reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will have a new challenge to tackle. There’ll be a difficult assignment that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants his Glissade co-CEOs to work together on.
That could involve a power play targeting Jabot, but it could just as easily be related to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) since she’s so against Kyle’s partnership with Audra.
Victor may push Audra and Kyle to figure out a way to ease Summer’s mind – or else!
It’s clear that this Audra situation has become a real problem for Summer, who feels obligated to watch out for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) by keeping Audra at a distance.
However, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gave Summer some good advice about learning to co-parent amicably with Kyle, even when she doesn’t agree with his decisions.
Maybe there’s a path to compromising after all – at least if Kyle and Audra can convince Summer their working relationship is no threat to Harrison.
Other Y&R spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have to deal with growing guilt and suspicions.
We’ll see Chelsea go into panic mode all over again as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) goes back to grilling her about the secrets she’s keeping.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a tough time navigating things with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as well, so the walls will be closing in on the cheaters.
Chelsea and Adam will no doubt struggle to keep their Maryland hookup under wraps.
As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she seems like she’s wavering on her decision to run Abbott-Chancellor alongside Billy.
Will Lily bail on the company and head over to Winters instead?
Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Kanan) feel like Lily belongs at her own family’s business, so they would welcome her with open arms if given the chance.
Of course, it’s also possible Lily will hang in there as long as she can and try to keep Billy from running Abbott-Chancellor into the ground.
Next, Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) mental state will take another nosedive thanks to all the Cameron Kirsten (Lindey Ashby) drama that’s been happening.
“Cameron” may up the ante soon by giving Sharon a nudge toward doing something downright dangerous!
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may come together for another emergency meeting, but Sharon will continue to listen to “Cameron” and will eventually get updates on his dangerous plans for her.
