The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week for July 15-19 reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will spin out emotionally as she continues to dwell on difficult memories of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).
Sharon’s new meds have been affecting her in strange ways, so that may continue to be the case until her doctor can figure out a better solution.
In the meantime, Sharon will struggle over the deep sense of loss she still feels and may grow increasingly angry over Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) role in what happened.
Of course, it’s not really Daniel’s fault since Cassie found him passed out drunk in his car and got behind the wheel to drive him home.
Even so, Sharon has been flashing back to her fury toward Daniel after the crash and may begin to focus on that fury in the present, too.
As for Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), she may play detective and try to get some answers about Daniel’s connection to Cassie’s accident.
Lucy may end up blaming Daniel on some level, especially since he never even mentioned Cassie in all these years.
Since Lucy is bound to confront Daniel sooner or later, his relationship with his daughter could take a serious hit.
Daniel and even Lucy herself could land in danger if Sharon’s mental state worsens to the point where she acts out in some way.
It’s also possible another car crash is brewing – one that could potentially involve Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) since there have been alcohol-related hints about something brewing for their characters.
Whatever the case, Y&R is clearly building to something big that could affect multiple families on canvas, so they’ll keep laying the groundwork for a disaster.
Until then, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may have a hard time sticking to boundaries after she sets some with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Could more temptation be brewing for these exes?
If Adam and Chelsea slip up again, that could turn their connection into a full-blown affair and make the secret they’re keeping from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) even worse.
On another note, Adam will have to decide if he’s willing to do Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dirty work. Will Adam help Victor use Newman Media as a tool against Jabot?
Adam will inevitably find out Victor’s real agenda sooner or later, so stick with us for updates on his reaction to Victor’s latest retaliation against Jack Abbott (Peter Bregman).
Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) custody showdown could heat up as well, so Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) might land in the middle of some growing drama.
If it comes to that, then it could give Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a new angle she can work to get Kyle out of the picture at Glissade.
Audra may want to highlight the fact that Kyle is causing so much turmoil for Victor’s beloved granddaughter.
Based on our Y&R predictions, Victor could punish Kyle over his treatment of Summer when it comes to this custody situation, so Kyle will have to be careful about the choices he makes!
