In tonight’s Tracker episode, there was a man that claimed to have broken into a secret Department of Defense site. His name was Scott Palmer. He disappeared right after sending his daughter a message about what he had done. However, the message itself said he found something. He never revealed what that something was.

Nor was the American government being open with the man’s daughter. She reached out to them once her father disappeared and they claimed they have no idea where her father was. They also said they didn’t have a secret DOD site. And Scott’s daughter didn’t know whether to believe them or not because her father was a conspiracy theorist.

Scott fell down a conspiracy wormhole after his wife died. He came to believe that the government was hiding the truth about UFOs. He thought there were aliens out there.

He even thought the government had proof and was covering it up. Scott started harassing a professor who also believed in the same thing. The professor’s name is Dr. Iris Blair. She met Scott on social media. They were talking back and forth when he became a little too zealous for her. He called her everyday. He wanted all of her time. He was intense.

Iris responded to that intensity with a restraining order. She initially asked Scott to leave her alone. When that didn’t work, she took it to court to force him to stop contacting her. Iris’s home was the first stop on Colter’s trip to getting answers. He wanted to know if Scott broke the restraining order.

Or if he came up with anything in his search of UFOs. Iris claimed she hasn’t heard him for a while although Colter had the impression she was stonewalling him. He had his friend Bobby look into both Scott and Iris. Bobby found that Iris was still on the group chats discussing UFOs. Scott didn’t scare her off.

She was a true believer. She downplayed that when she spoke with Colter. Only Colter was used to professors being conspiracy theorists. His own parents were like that until his father was killed.

His mother was still like that even after her husband’s death. Its why she doesn’t have a relationship with two of her three children. The only one she didn’t cut off was the one person willing to believe her conspiracies. That’s Colter for you. He had an open mind to listen to his mom and he was willing enough to not write off Scott as a crazy loon.

Colter had Bobby give him the location of Scott’s car. He followed it into the woods. Colter started seeing lights in the sky and then nothing. He went off grid. His friends couldn’t find him. Reenie was so worried that she reached out to Colter’s older brother, Russell for help. It took Russell less than a day to find Colter at a black site. He was taken by the government. They drugged him. They restrained him. He had no clue who they were or what branch of government they were. They also weren’t telling him anything about Scott.

Russell later showed up at just the right moment. He found Colter at the black site. He took out the guards. He got Colter out of there and he reunited Colter with his phone.

Colter was contacted by Scott’s daughter again. Patti said there was a black van parked outside of her father’s house. It’s been there for hours. Colter quickly realized it was too easy how they got out of the black site. The spies there let him get away with his brother because they were hoping Colter would lead them to Scott.

The spooks don’t have Scott. They were looking for him because he genuinely found something. Colter and Russell didn’t want to lead a black ops team to Scott and so they took countermeasures.

They broke their SIM cards. They broke their phones. Russell checked Colter’s neck where he got shot by a tranquilizer gun and he found a tracking device in his brother’s neck. They got rid of that as well. Colter also came up with the idea of talking to Iris again. He thought Iris might have a clue where Scott was hiding.

Iris did get close to Scott. They worked together for years before the restraining order. Scott left clues behind on where he went when he disappeared and Colter was right that Iris knew what the clues meant.

She gave them the location that Scott found. The brothers followed it. They found a site that looked like a landing site. It appeared that the US government was awaiting an arrival of a spacecraft, but while they were there, Iris was killed by the black ops team. They made her death look like a suicide. And Colter’s friends were getting worried.

Colter’s friends couldn’t get in contact with either him or Russell. Russell and Reenie kinda became good friends. Sure, he has to hide what he does for a living. He was a private contractor that sometimes works with the government on shady stuff only he turned out to be a true alien believer.

He and Colter found the landing site. They took out the guards. They found Scott. Scott refused to leave with them at first. He wanted to stay to get evidence of alien contact. He said that was the only thing that matters to him and so Colter had to remind him about his daughter.

Patti’s mom was already dead. If she loses her father too, she’ll be completely without family. Colter had to remind Scott to care more about his daughter than he was about being right. They saw a bunch of lights. They heard a high-pitched screech. Scott never got to see what it was because the brothers took him away.

They were traveling through the woods when they ran into the second guy that Reenie contacted to find Colter. Reenie took the brothers to task for going no contact. And everyone was just glad they were safe.

The black site packed their things up. They disappeared into the wind. Scott never got his evidence to prove his theories and so he was safe for now as long as everyone thought he was crazy.

Russell on the other hand ran into a spook that mentioned their dad. He brought it up to Colter and Colter admitted that their sister has a box of their dad’s things. Some of which was top secret. Russell didn’t seem interested but Colter needed answers. He was willing to look for them with or without Russell’s help.

THE END!
