Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Cameron Kirsten is about to return to the land of Genoa City as Linden Ashby is set to reprise his infamous role.
While it’s easy to think the writers may craft a way to bring Cameron back from the dead, the truth is that his return is likely linked to Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) current storyline.
Poor Sharon Newman is struggling with her mental health right now.
Y&R fans know that her bipolar meds have been switched, and while her loved ones are seeing some weird behavior surfacing, viewers have seen Sharon’s side of things, and things are getting downright scary.
From snapping at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) without just cause to leaving her home a complete mess, Sharon also recently had a hallucination that involved kissing her ex, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
This made #TeamShick a little happy; however, considering everything going on in Sharon’s life a reunion is likely not in the cards anytime soon.
Could Sharon have a hallucination about Cameron Kirsten?
It’s hard not to think that Sharon could see him pop up out of nowhere and suddenly believe that he’s stalking her again.
It could start with hallucinating about receiving letters, gifts, and other things (like he did the last time), and then she could start seeing him behind trees, bushes, at the park, office, and her home.
Nick, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) know that something is off with Sharon.
But would they take her stalking claims seriously, or believe it is linked to mental health? They aren’t seeing what fans are seeing, so it’s hard to say.
After all, digging into the Y&R history vaults, Mariah came to GC after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) paid her to drive Sharon crazy … so perhaps Nick and crew will believe there’s someone out there with a vendetta to do the same.
Then again, with everyone that has returned from the dead to Genoa City, they too, may believe that Cameron’s back and ready for revenge!
Y&R spoilers suggest that Sharon’s mental health will get worse before anyone takes action.
If Sharon has “stalking receipts” in the form of notes and gifts, Nick, Mariah, and Faith may end up shifting their focus to trying to find Cameron, versus getting help for Sharon.
