Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest the daytime drama just released its preview for the week of June 23-27, and fans should brace for more bombshells up ahead.
The promo starts with a scene between Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) in front of the nurse’s station at the hospital.
Ashley states, “You think Hayley is pretending to be in pain?”, just as Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) is shown as she slumps over in pain at her home.
The woman is holding on to her stomach. Dani then rants to Ashley, “She faked the fetus to hold onto the man, and now it’s hard to fake a swollen belly, so now she’s faking a miscarriage and trying to pin it on me!”
It sounds like Hayley and Dani could get into it, only for Hayley to start having cramps. Will she lose her baby?
As the scenes shift, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) can be heard, as he notes, “What the heck?”
He walks into a room filled with the most unlikely grouping of men in Fairmont Crest.
From Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) to Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy), Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett), Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), and Martin’s dad, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) – they are all there for a meeting of the minds as it seems.
Martin then asks Vernon why he’d pull his dad into this, which is when Vernon states that Ted has known since the beginning.
Martin turns to his father and exclaims, “Tell me that’s not true.”
The look on Ted’s face says it all; Ted’s known about Martin’s secret all along, which means he’s kept yet another lie from Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix)!
This won’t bode well for any romantic reunion plans!
BTG audiences got a ton of information during the Friday, June 20 show, where Martin’s secret is concerned.
While the entire story has not been revealed, it’ll be interesting to see how all these “players” were involved in the congressman’s big secret and cover-up!
As the weekly promo goes on, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hawthorne) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) are shown next.
The two are on their bed, having a serious discussion. Jacob states, “What if this is just the first layer?” Naomi replies, “But I thought Elon explained that away.”
It looks like Jacob is going to try and learn more about the Marcel/Joey/Elon pay-off, which spells trouble for both Jacob and Naomi’s families!
As the BTG preview for the week of June 23-27 wraps up, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will return from her Articulettes reunion rehearsals in the days ahead.
A scene is shown of her and Vernon, holding each other in the Dupree Family mansion.
Anita asks Vernon, “Is there something you’re not telling me about our kingdom?” As they hug, Vernon’s face looks concerned.
Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that Vernon will be in damage control mode during the week of June 23-27, now that he knows Kenneth (Jason Vendryes), the sketchy country club busboy, is back in the picture and blackmailing the Duprees.
Vernon is not a violent man, but he’s also not someone who will sit idly by and allow anyone to disrupt his family’s peace.
