Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest the rivalry between Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) continues to heat up.
While Kat is unaware that they share a father in Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson), she was rubbed the wrong way by Eva from the very first day the family’s temporary assistant started.
Kat senses something off with Eva, and she’s not wrong. While Eva is developing a soft spot for both Ted and his wife, Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix), she and her mom, Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) are scheming to blow up the family’s life.
It seems as if Leslie and Ted had an affair years ago that Ted is desperately trying to keep under wraps from Nicole.
Unfortunately, he paid Leslie off a while ago, but she long spent the money and has now returned to cause chaos.
Leslie told Eva that Ted knew about her pregnancy and wanted nothing to do with it. Still, Leslie is also a consummate liar, so it’s unclear if that was the case.
Back to the young ladies, Kat feels as if Eva is up to no good and shouldn’t be trusted; the fact that she’s called out her out multiple times has increased the animosity between the two.
In addition, Eva must have some pent-up disdain for Kat, as the sister that got to grow up in the lap of luxury, and with Ted in her life during childhood and beyond.
These ladies have enough material for a top-notch feud as it is, but there’s nothing like a man to enter the equation to help increase the stakes.
During the Tuesday, March 19 episode, Eva figured out a new way to get under her sister’s skin.
Kat is interested in Tomas “Tom” Navarro (Alex Alegria), and the two had a date during the week of March 10-14.
Still, during Tuesday’s show, Eva got her flirt on with Tom, which worked Kat’s last nerve.
Even more interesting is that Kat has never been intimate with a man before, something she revealed to Tom during their date.
It’s hard to say if Tom is willing to play the long game with Kat or if he is interested in a fling. Could Eva cast out some revenge on Kat by seducing Tom?
Eva mentioned her encounter with Tom to her mom, and Leslie nipped the idea of a romance with him in the bud.
Doing so could jeopardize her job as Nicole’s assistant and Leslie needs her firmly planted there to carry out her scheme.
Still, Eva doesn’t seem like one that listens to her mom all the time.
After all, she was able to get Leslie secretly booted out of Nicole’s award ceremony dinner by discreetly telling the banquet manager to have her removed. Leslie thinks it was Ted, but Eva was behind it.
Beyond the Gates spoilers imply that while Eva is going along with her mom’s scheme now, she may also decide to have an affair with Tom on the down-low.
This way, she’ll secretly enjoy getting back at Kat without completely blowing things out of the water with her mom and the Richardson family.
Fans will have to watch this storyline closely to see how it all plays out.
