Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Thursday, February 27 reveal some shocking revelations.
During the Wednesday, February 26 episode, viewers got the opportunity to meet some more new characters but were also completely caught off guard by bombshells and plot twists that unraveled.
First off, while Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) isn’t exactly a pivotal character within storylines as Nicole Dupree Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) assistant.
Still, her car crash, seemingly at the hands of Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), was both shocking and odd.
Laura was purposely run off the road during Wednesday’s show, and when Leslie got back to her apartment, took off her motorcycle helmet with a smirk, all arrows pointed to her as the culprit.
While viewers don’t know much at this point, what is known is Leslie seems a tad shady.
She has an issue with Nicole that she’s clearly trying to hide, and she recently lost someone she loves dearly, named Alan. But, why run Laura off the road?
The good news is that it looks like Laura will survive the car crash; however, the bad news is that she may not be headed to Maui anytime soon. In fact, she may need time off work as well.
BTG spoilers suggest that Leslie’s daughter, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) is slated to become Nicole’s new assistant, so there two will likely plan some chaos for the good doctor and the Richardson household.
But, why go to such extreme measures to do this?
Over to the Dupree family, all the members were summoned to the Fairmont Crest mansion by Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) on Wednesday.
This is when both Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and his wife revealed to the Dupree fam jam that they were all going to Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley Lawson’s (Marquita Goings) wedding, which is taking place on Friday.
Everyone was stunned, but Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) was completely against it and objected right after the fact.
She stormed out of the mansion’s family room; however, after a talk with Vernon, she agreed to go, even though she didn’t want to.
It’s clear Dani is a daddy’s girl, and Vernon reasoned that he wouldn’t ask her to do this if there wasn’t a good reason.
It looks like there will be major drama as everyone gears up for the big event, and as soap fans know, no wedding in the land of daytime drama goes off without some sort of hitch, so both Bill and Hayley should expect some hiccups along the way.
In fact, viewers should brace themselves for a potential face-off during Thursday’s show between Bill and his eldest daughter, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), before he says, “I do” to her ex-best friend.
In other news, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) had an odd encounter with ‘a fan’ at a local bar and it looked as if the two were role playing to hit the sheets, until Dani interrupted them and sat down.
Dani made mention that the guy didn’t look like Vanessa’s husband, Doug McBride (Jason Graham), and she fluffed him off as someone running errands for her and he left the table.
Meanwhile, fans met Doug in the next scene, waiting in a car on a side road, only for a man to enter the vehicle, grab a hotel room keycard, and leave after some small talk. What is this all about?
Lastly, during the Wednesday, February 26 episode, fans learned more about Andre Hamilton (Sean Freeman), local playboy and freelance photographer, and how his Aunt Nicole and Uncle Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) helped him after his parents died in a plane crash.
Is there more to this story than meets the eye and will audiences find out if there was any suspicious activity regarding this accident?
