Someone has been building a nuclear device in Tallinn – and although Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) refuses to tell Andrew who’s responsible, he did mention that they’re ready to sell it to the highest bidder.
The ISA is now concerned about this device falling into the wrong hands, but things are tricky since multiple governments are involved.
John ultimately found the secret facility where the device is being housed, but the ISA warned him not to infiltrate.
Since John’s handler lost contact with him soon after, there are suspicions about John going rogue.
Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) just entered that building with Andrew and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) , but Days spoilers say things are about to take a wrong turn.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is dealing with some trouble of her own since Orpheus ambushed her in her hotel room.
Orpheus’ dramatic return brought a must-see moment to cap off the weak, but what does this news mean for John?
Days spoilers say John won’t survive this storyline, so it seems reasonable to assume that Orpheus will play a role in taking him out permanently.
Orpheus is a truly dangerous nemesis who’s gone after John and Marlena more than once, so it’s fitting for him to be involved here.
You can bet Orpheus is about to taunt Marlena with some unsettling predictions and threats.
Now that Days is setting up additional conflict between Marlena and Orpheus, all this could build to Orpheus being the man behind John’s demise.
Since John’s funeral will play out down the road, seeing Orpheus again feels like an ominous turning point.
