In tonight’s FBI: International episode, Greg Csonka was found guilty of multiple crimes. He even confessed to the murder of FBI Special Agent Mike Brooks. Brooks was Wes’s partner and he partly joined the FBI flyteam in the hope of getting justice for his friend. It was a therefore a relief when Csonka confessed.

Everyone thought that would be the end. They unfortunately underestimated Csonka. He had an escape plan lined up. It went into effect when the police were transporting him and he was able to flee to parts unknown with no one to stop him.

Before he left, he shot another federal agent. Her name is Cameron Vo. She was rushed into surgery. They saved her life only she was still at risk of infection. There’s no telling if she’ll wake up.

She was still asleep when the flyteam heard about Csonka’s latest move. He went to Paris. He has a system whenever he gets in trouble with the law.

He was once found guilty in a Los Angeles court and he covertly snuck off to Las Vegas. He grabbed some money. He grabbed a fake passport. He essentially laid low while the heat died down.

He then went to Mexico when he left Las Vegas. Csonka’s plan was very clear. He will eventually go to a nonextradition country when the heat dies down in Europe. Until then, he was hanging out in Paris. He has friends there. Or at least he did until they refused to hide someone too toxic to touch.

Csonka had to kill this friend and he threatened to kill more if he wasn’t hidden. He also tried to confuse the Americans looking for him. He gave money to Valerie Marez. The feds thought it was for stolen artwork. They didn’t care about that. They just wanted Csonka’s location.

Valerie pretended like she wanted to save her own skin. She gave the feds an address. They went there. They interrupted a family having dinner and Valerie’s real plan went into effect.

She lured the feds into a trap. Special Agent Raines was taken hostage. Csonka was holding onto him for collateral. He wanted a chance to escape and he promised not to kill Raines if the flyteam would give him five hours. They couldn’t give him that. They also couldn’t let him realize they couldn’t give him that. And so they went back to Valerie.

Valerie wasn’t some mere acquaintance. She was Csonka’s girlfriend. She’s in love with him. She was willing to do his bidding and the only time she agreed to betray him was because of her visa. She was French-Algerian. She doesn’t have full citizenship in France.

She was there on a visa. This visa could get turned down for a whole slew of reasons. One of them being aiding and abetting a known criminal. The flyteam threatened her visa and so she helped them. She called Csonka. She kept him on the phone long enough for them to pin his location.

By time they got there, he had already left with Raines. The feds missed their chance on finding him, but they still got lucky. They found one member of the Belmondo Crime Family lurking around outside.

The head of the family was killed Csonka. The others agreed to work with him so they didn’t get killed and that led to them they having no loyalty to Csonka. The FBI quickly arrested this underling. They reminded him what was on stake. That along with the fact he’d could get put into a prison not in Paris made him talk.

He told them that Csonka was heading to the airport. He also mentioned that Csonka took Raines to help sell his cover. He was going to pretend to be a federal agent to escape detection and having another federal agent there would make him look less suspicious.

Once the feds found out he was heading to the airport, they worked with local cops to shut down the airport. Someone must have talked because Csonka received a phone call. He was warned about going to the airport and he was going to go with Plan Be when Raines escaped.

Raines stabbed Csonka. They fought over the gun. They accidentally killed Csonka’s man who was driving the car and Csonka ran off into the crowd when he couldn’t overpower Raines.

Raines got him in the leg. Raines then calls his people. He tells them he’s fine only he was worried about Vo. He believes Csonka will target Vo at the hospital. He also said that Csonka was limping away. Wes went looking for Csonka. He found him on the bridge. He tried to arrest the man and Csonka went for his gun.

Wes was forced to kill him. Which he didn’t regret. Vo was going to recover. Raines was now safe. It was considered a good end to the case. The flyteam even enjoyed a quick drink in Paris before they went back to Budapest.

Although, it wasn’t clear who warned Csonka about the airport.

THE END!
