In tonight’s FBI: Most Wanted episode, Ray’s dad wanted to take a boys trip. Ray Senior suffered a heart attack a few months ago. He was in the hospital for a bit and was eventually released with the advisory that he take things easy.

He tried that, but he was bored. He was finally feeling like his old self again. He wanted to celebrate it with a boys camping trip. Senior loves his camping. His son hates camping. Ray’s stepson wanted to go and so Ray had to go. Even if he didn’t like it. He planned on going and then he heard from work. There was a missing woman.

Not just any missing woman. She was Jocelyn Yang. She was the mayor of Patterson, New Jersey. She was under FBI investigation for fraud and corruption.

She’s allegedly been accepting bribes from Peter Dao. Dao was officially in “sanitation”. Unofficially, it was organized crime. He pays off the local politicians and gets rewarded with great contracts. He might have grabbed Jocelyn if he was worried about her being a liability. Remy went to his home. He questioned him. Dao knows he has too much on people to flinch and so he didn’t do this.

The abduction was also really messy. It wasn’t professional at all. Jocelyn had a chance to escape and she didn’t take it. It seemed highly suspicious. The feds came to believe she might have staged her kidnapping.

She knew about the FBI investigation. She wasn’t as protected as Dao was. She also couldn’t testify against him because she knew a guy like Dao would kill her in prison. This kidnapping would allow her to fake her death and disappear. The only thing she needed to make the plan work was some money.

The feds were tracking everyone in Jocelyn’s life in case they were wrong about it be a hoax. They knew that her Chief of Staff sped off in a hurry and so they followed him. It turns out Drew was a good guy.

He cared about Jocelyn. He was sent a ransom demand and he tried to pay it. He didn’t involve the cops. He didn’t know he was being followed. He led feds right to Jocelyn. They were right about her. She wasn’t kidnapped. She faked it so that Drew would pay the ransom and she could go on the run with her boyfriend.

The boyfriend happened to be Josh Dao. He was Peter Dao’s son. The two must have meat when she was doing business with his dad. They needed money before they went on the run and that’s why they contacted Drew.

Josh then shot Drew when he thought Drew informed the feds. He killed him. He and Jocelyn went back on the run. They didn’t get the money and so they needed to collect some other way. Josh considered going to his dad. Jocelyn turned it down. She didn’t want to involve him. Josh then thought about it and he assured her that he was man enough to provide for her.

Josh was deeply in love with her. He was willing to anything she asks of him. The two of them have been having an affair for months and hiding it from everyone. Hana only found out about it because Josh frequently went on social media using the WiFi from a hotel. The same hotel that was two blocks from City Hall.

Josh wanted to prove that he could take care of Jocelyn like his dad did with their family. He didn’t see that Jocelyn was just using him this whole time. Jocelyn didn’t grow up in a fancy house like he did.

Jocelyn’s dad walked out on them when she was four. She grew up in and out of shelters whenever her mom broke up with one of her boyfriends. Jocelyn didn’t care about Josh. She just wanted a better life for herself.

Josh didn’t realize he was used until he got arrested. He was taken in. He was barely in custody an hour when his mom was killed. Jocelyn killed her. The feds thought it was Dao that did it. They were disabused of that notion after they found out that Dao helped Jocelyn fake her death.

Josh knew all along that his dad would never kill his mom. His dad wouldn’t have bothered. He stopped caring years ago. Josh didn’t know about the other stuff until after his mom was dead.

He wasn’t the only one sleeping with her. His father was doing the same. Dao genuinely loved Jocelyn because he was willing to betray everyone to go on the run with her. He didn’t mind that she killed his wife or that she set his son up for a crime. The plan was always to paint Josh as the one that murdered her after abducting her.

Everyone would think he killed a threat to his dad. They also knew he wanted to be just like his dad. Josh got a tattoo from the BTK gang. The gang got taken down over twenty years ago.

He should never have gotten a tattoo if he wasn’t affiliated with them. He just copied his dad’s tattoo from when Dao was running with BTK. The body they used to fake Jocelyn’s death was in fact Yen Ho. She was the wife of the BTK mob boss. The boss stashed millions with her after he got taken down. Dao robbed her and then killed her.

He stole her money. He went to Chinatown. BTK used to run the area. Josh felt so bad about not protecting his mom that he admitted that there was a forgery front still up and running in the area.

The feds moved in. Jocelyn tried to hide herself and Dao. When that didn’t work, Jocelyn thought they should turn themselves in. She said they could get a great lawyer. Dao didn’t want a lawyer. He fired at the feds in spite being trapped in an enclosure with Jocelyn. The feds were forced to return fire.

The couple was killed. Just not long after Dao tried to use Jocelyn as a human shield. Now Josh was facing life in prison with no one to protect him anymore.

Ray went on the camping trip with his dad and stepson. His dad started drinking. He tried to give Ray’s stepson a drink and he was being so stubborn about that and everything else that Ray called it. Camping trip was over. It’s a good thing they had it behind an Airbnb. They went into the house to watch the game. And get warmed up.

THE END!
