In today’s FBI episode, Rose Carvalho disappeared from the museum. She was eight. She had gone out with her father. He was worried about placing a bet and so he took a call without realizing it wasn’t his friend. It was someone diverting his attention. They did that as his daughter was lured away.

Not that her father figured that out. He just thought the call was a mistake. He went looking for his kid. Rose’s hat was found at the scene. She disappeared too fast for it to be an accident and he knew right away that she had been grabbed, but he thought it was his ex that was responsible.

Elsbeth Carvalho was Rose’s mother. She was also an addict. Her drug of choice was fentanyl. She got so high last year that she let their house burn down and that’s when her husband had enough. He kicked her out. Filed for divorce. He also got full custody and a restraining order to go with it.

Elsbeth was allowed to see her daughter once a year as long as she was clean. She sadly was not clean. She was also breaking the restraining order by stalking their kid. She showed up outside of Rose’s school the other day.

The teachers spotted her. They chased her away. The feds looked into the incident. They saw that Elsbeth was taking photos of Rose and they hoped it was for sentimental reasons.

They tracked down Elsbeth. She was overdosing. They had to revive her with narcan. She eventually came to just to be asked where her daughter was? She didn’t know what happened. She didn’t know Rose was taken. The feds ruled her out and they looked her into ex-husband. He was placing a bet at the time his daughter was taken.

Only he never made it home after the incident. Mr. Carvalho got grabbed himself. He was thrown into the back of a van and the men that grabbed him had a gun pointed at his daughter’s head.

They forced him to help them. They needed him to get passed the biometric security at the company where he worked. The feds followed another lead to that company. They found three armed men in masks stealing and they tried to intervene. They shot one guy before they managed to escape into their van. The feds then found Mr. Carvalho and Rose.

Both were alive. Both were safe. The dad told them the whole story. He also told them that this had nothing to do with his bet. He didn’t know those guys.

He said they might be foreign because one guy had a French accent. They asked him what those men stole and it was C4. They stole a few bricks of the stuff. It could be used to make a bomb only it wasn’t enough to cause a terrorist attack. Not unless he was used in combination with something else. The feds quickly identified their suspects as military or former military.

They were trained. They also picked up their friend that got shot. Scola though it was a no man left behind thing. He turned out to be wrong because they later found a torso.

The hands, legs, and head were cut off. They also burned the body. There was no way that guy was a friend if they were willing to do that to him. They thankfully missed something because they hadn’t known him too well. He had a pacemaker and that allowed the feds to identify him. His name was Curtis Knight. He was an American. He was former green beret turned mercenary.

His pacemaker also can also be tracked via an app. They got Knight’s movements. They found where his partner were hiding and even found one of the remaining two, but he was exposed to something.

He was dying. The feds had to flee because the scene was a biohazard. Maggie and OA had to be checked by the local branch of the CDC. They were eventually cleared. Maggie also said this was why she had to give up Ella. The job was too dangerous. She couldn’t risk Ella losing another mother to the FBI.

The man they found dying was identified as Tevian Michelle. He was former French Special Forces. He has a PHD in biology and it was him cooking up the anthrax. There was something funny about that anthrax. It did the damage of a week’s exposure in one day. It was a different breed.

The feds tracked it back to Syria. After the government fell there, there was some confusion in the chaos. It gave the unscrupulous few an opportunity to access the bioweapons and there were quite a few weapons there.

Either Michelle or his partners visited Syria to steal the weapons. Michelle had two known associates. Knight and another man by the name of Vaughn Pulver. Pulver was former Irish Forces. He was now known as a trafficker. He sells everything from drugs to weapons. He was selling what they created

. This new brand of anthrax that they had combined with the C4 was to create a dirty bomb. The feds caught up to Pulver. It was too late by then because he already made the drop. He literally saw it killing Michelle and he still sold it.

The new girl almost made a mistake in arresting Pulver. She didn’t want to wait for the drop or in their case the suspected drop. Scola told her to stand back and she claimed that Pulver made her. Which gave her the excuse she needed to arrest him. She nearly compromised everything. The one thing that saved her was again the drop had already been made. Pulver gave the bomb to the buyer. He was willing to make a deal in exchange for getting out of the city. He didn’t want to be around when that bomb went off. He eventually gave them the buyer’s name.

Their potential bomber was Ahmet Meydan. He was a Turkish National living in the Maldives. He made a video railing against the capitalist American machine. He was angry and he has nothing to lose. He was dying of cancer. His son was a stockbroker. He worked at this big company. The company had a major scandal and they let Meydan’s son be the fall guy. He didn’t want to get arrested or bring shame to his family. He killed himself. And his father was now avenging him by targeting Wall Street.

He wanted to destroy the economic center of the United States. Or as he said when he was caught, the center of greed. He believed that greed killed his son. He believed the greed was killing him as well. He built a port in the Maldives for the Americans and he felt it destroyed the island. He figured he probably got cancer from that too. He was caught after he ditched the bomb and he didn’t want to help them find it. Not at first. It wasn’t until Isobel played back his video to him that he realized she was right with her accusations.

He was no longer the man that his son loved. He gave up the location. There was no way of stopping the bomb and so they removed the anthrax. The bomb still went off only it was a small explosion with just the little amount of C4.

Maggie and OA saved the day, but Scola was worried about Dani. He didn’t think she was as fit as she was claiming to be.

THE END!
