General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, April 28, indicates that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) shocking outcome will be revealed while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets a mystery gift. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also face a WSB setback, so let’s talk about all the highs and lows of Monday’s GH episode.
At The Savoy, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will give Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) some updates, so she may fill him in on something related to her plot to bring Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) down.
Curtis will also spot Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) out for a celebratory evening ahead of his surgery the next day.
Kai will ask if he can speak with Curtis alone and will end up apologizing, so he may be sorry for rejecting Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) advice after Curtis sent him to her.
Curtis understands that Kai has to do what’s right for him when it comes to this procedure, but he’ll still have some concerns about all the risks.
Meanwhile, Portia will force Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to follow more instructions, which he obviously won’t be happy about.
Brad might play a role in helping Portia arrange the Mickey that Portia needs for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) upcoming trap.
Back at The Savoy, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) will continue to get Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) attention, which is a problem for Josslyn since she needs to impress him and earn the research assistant gig.
Although Josslyn will face a setback when it comes to her WSB mission, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) will push the right buttons and goad her into not giving up.
As for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), it looks like she’ll pull up a news story on her tablet and show it to Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Since Gio respects Sonny, Tracy will try to damage his reputation in Gio’s eyes.
Gio will eventually recruit Emma for some help with something, so that’ll give them a chance to grow closer.
In Los Angeles, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will reel when she enters Sonny’s hospital room.
Will Sonny somehow get the upper hand on the devious nurse that’s trying to wipe him off the map with that syringe?
Could this nurse get jabbed and face a fatal outcome instead?
Whatever the case, Sonny will survive the latest attempt on his life, but Carly and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will remain worried about who keeps ordering the hits.
At the law office, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will back Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) up as she rips into Alexis.
Kristina will rant over the papers to have her forced into psychiatric care and wonder why Alexis would secretly have them drawn up.
Alexis will deal with some serious backlash, but she might manage to hold her tongue – at least long enough to corner Kristina alone and explain the blackmail situation that led to those papers.
Later, Alexis will get an intriguing gift – one that could leave her making some troubling predictions.
Could Sidwell send something that feels ominous and set off some alarm bells?
