General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there are three reasons why Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may go crawling back to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the end. There’s a good chance Willow will find herself on a reunion mission down the road, so let’s discuss why she may pursue her ex again.
1) Dreamy Drew bubble bursts
For starters, Willow’s dreamy Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) bubble will burst and make her realize she should’ve appreciated the stable husband she had in Michael.
It’s true that Willow and Michael had some trust issues in their relationship, but they typically only kept secrets to protect each other in some way.
Michael loved Willow and tried to give her the world, but she seemed to think the grass was greener on the other side with Drew.
Once Drew’s true colors are exposed, Willow’s going to see how wrong she was and may feel she made a horrible mistake in blowing up her marriage to Michael.
2) Willow won’t want to let Sasha win
We should also talk about Willow’s feud with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), which is bound to get even worse once the paternity truth comes out.
Part of Willow may be angry over Michael’s role in the betrayal, but she may get past that quickly and put most of the blame on Sasha.
It’s easy to imagine Willow acting like Sasha took advantage of Michael’s heartbreak and seduced him that night – even if GH fans know that’s not how it happened.
Whatever the case, Willow won’t want to let Sasha have a chance to snatch Michael up for herself when he inevitably recovers and returns down the road.
That could help fuel Willow’s desire to reunite with Michael herself.
3) Willow will want to put her family back together
Of course, Willow will also have to think about Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) once everything falls apart with Drew.
It could leave Willow longing to reunite with Michael for the kids’ sake.
Willow may deal with some guilt over ruining their happy family and decide she needs to make things right.
The situation could get complicated if Sasha decides to let Michael be a real father to her baby, but Willow may resolve to fix her own family with Michael anyway.
Whether Chad Duell returns or another actor takes over as a recast, Michael will surely be needed on canvas again sooner or later.
Willow may ultimately make some predictions about getting her marriage to Michael back on track somewhere down the line.
