General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will get emotional when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) uses her recent Washington trip with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) against her. Once Willow is served with a new legal document, it’ll leave her in panic mode.
Willow’s going to fret over losing her children, but Michael’s looming medical crisis will throw the custody feud into chaos.
Following the explosion and fire in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) home, Michael will be severely burned and unable to care for the kids.
Willow will realize she needs to act fast – perhaps partly because she’ll have Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) pushing her to make a move to gain the upper hand.
With Michael stuck in a hospital bed and eventually a burn clinic, Willow will hope for a clear path to sole custody.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may have other plans since GH spoilers say she’ll fight to protect Michael’s interests in the coming weeks.
Sonny may appeal to Nina and contend that they have to do what’s best for Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
Perhaps Sonny will agree the children should stay with Willow, but he won’t want them kept away from Michael’s family.
Although Nina and Sonny will reach an agreement, Carly may not be as willing to compromise!
From Carly’s perspective, she may think Willow’s exploiting Michael’s ordeal and trying to make Drew their fill-in father instead.
If Carly decides to keep pursuing this, she could certainly go up against Willow and try to get custody of Wiley and Amelia herself.
After all, Carly isn’t usually someone who’s willing to back down from a fight.
Carly will deliver a stern warning before the week of January 6-10 is over, so she may get in Willow’s face and insist this custody battle is still happening.
Of course, Michael could eventually convince Carly to stand down and let Willow take the kids for stability’s sake.
Amelia and Wiley are confused enough as it is – and they’re going to face even more confusion over Daddy going away for medical treatment.
Whatever the case, our predictions indicate that the conflict is far from over between Willow and Carly.
Even if Carly relents on the custody issue, she definitely won’t stop ripping into Willow every chance she gets.
