General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that there could be a reason why Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) behavior has been so off in recent months. Does Drew have a brain tumor or another medical explanation for the major character changes he’s undergone?
It wouldn’t be the first time a soap used a brain tumor to explain why a character totally went off the rails.
If Drew’s behavior gets even wilder and he perhaps tries to eliminate someone, that could pave the way for a big reveal about his condition.
Even if Drew isn’t suffering from a brain tumor, he could have some other medical explanation for his actions.
Some fans have made predictions that maybe Drew is dealing with a brain injury related to his beating in prison.
Of course, it’s also possible there’s some other health-related issue that’s causing Drew to behave so out of character.
GH writers could have some surprising diagnosis in the works to explain Drew’s sinister turn and all the unsettling moves he’s made.
It’s never made much sense to take Drew down such a terrible road, but everything could be explained somewhere in the end.
Perhaps Drew’s behavior is out of his control if there’s a medical excuse behind it.
That could pave the way for Drew to receive treatment and ultimately get back to his old self depending on how things play out.
There have been some dialogue hints about Drew possibly facing a grim fate, but he’s not deceased yet!
That means there’s time to undo all the Drew damage and put him back on a better path.
The show still has a chance to redeem Drew and let him stick around – especially if he’s become a total jerk because of a brain issue or another medical condition that can be treated.
Regardless, Drew’s been making tons of enemies and bad decisions lately, so it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
