General Hospital spoilers tease the mystery of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Scotty Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) disappearances may soon be unraveled. Might Liesl be working at the German burn clinic where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is now, and Scotty reunited with her?
General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Left Shortly After Donating Her Bone Marrow And Losing Her Daughter Britt
GH viewers may remember that Liesl departed the town not long after Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) tragic passing and her heroic bone marrow donation to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
In 2023, she had a significant fallout with Scotty, leading her to announce her leaving Port Charles to return home.
Scotty, on the other hand, vanished in the summer of 2024 after assisting in an escape.
A pharmacist at GH was implicated in the tampering of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bipolar medication, and Scotty was meant to escort him to Sonny’s island for protection.
Sadly, there has been no word from either Liesl or Scotty since then, sparking theories that Pikeman may have made Scott and the pharmacist “disappear” for good.
However, with Pikeman (allegedly) dismantled and the corrupt FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) out of the picture, one would think Scott and the pharmacist would be safe; yet, the silence continues.
GH Spoilers: Scott Didn’t Want To Lose Liesl And Have Her Leave Town
Scott desperately wished for Liesl to stay by his side and not leave town, but she made her exit, and since then, there’s been no word from her—not even to her niece, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
After the heart-wrenching loss of both her son and daughter, one would expect her to remain close for the sake of Nina, Willow, and her cherished grandson, James West (Gary James Fuller).
Although her remaining family may be somewhat distant—like her great-niece Willow and Willow’s two children—they are still family.
Similarly, Scotty has faced his own losses; his only surviving child, Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder), has been absent for years.
It’s strange that neither Obrecht or Scotty has been spotted in Port Charles for such a long time, and their absence hasn’t even been acknowledged by anyone.
General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Is Surprised By Familiar Faces At The German Clinic?
Liesl has an impressive background in European clinics, utilizing advanced techniques to treat a range of injuries and illnesses; this expertise is what initially brought her and Scotty together.
Their story began at a Swiss clinic, where Scotty brought Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) in hopes of finding a cure for his inoperable brain tumor, quickly becoming Liesl’s hero.
Scott rescued her from an obsessed doctor and a passionate romance sparked that lasted a couple of years.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Liesl now working at the German burn clinic where Michael is, nor if she and Scotty found their way back to each other.
Although Scott may not be practicing law anymore, he could at least find joy in his Schnitzel—and when Michael wakes up, he’ll be greeted by some familiar faces!
